2 Sunset Boulevard Update This exciting and dynamic musical is hitting the stage at Playhouse Theatre this September and October. We are pleased to welcome the fantastically experienced and talented artistic team comprising of John Fausett as the director; Andrew Christie as Musical Director; Robyn Kennerly as Vocal coach, and Marita Gillespie as the Choreographer. We are still to finalise the cast and have three roles left to fill. Artie Green : A fresh face assistant director in his mid twenties. Males, aged Male Ensemble Female Ensemble If you are interested please contact the production Costume Hire The costume hire at Playhouse is bursting at the seams with garments and costumes of every description. The Costume hire is now back up and running but is only open by appointment. A reminder that all members are welcome to attend the open forum at the start of our committee meetings from 7:30-8pm. A chance to share ideas and make suggestions. Next meeting scheduled for Wednesday 12th July at 7:30 pm, all are welcome. The back shed crew has been working hard on the set for our youth show! With winter here let us give the back shed crew and all of our volunteers a warm round of applause and thanks for their contributions. Presidents Report: We are looking for an organised and energetic person to fill our secretary role for the management committee. Duties would include collecting mail, typing minutes, attending all meetings, writing and delivering all professional contact letters, and having a smile. I do hope you will all come out to support the talented cast & the Creative team of Disney's Little Mermaid Jr. The kids have been rehearsing hard and are looking forward to opening night 15th July only 1 week season so book early. We have cast Sunset Boulevard and we had a meet & greet get together last Sunday we have Committee Contacts: some very talented performers for this show so keep an eye out for when the box office opens. By the way we are doing the NZ Premiere opening for this show so let everyone know, oh it is also one of my favourite musicals. Playhouse has a very exciting plan to build a new clubrooms, which would encompass a rehearsal venue, mini theatre, costume and prop storage and a new set building space. We have been saving $1 from every ticket sold and put it towards saving for this aspiration and we will continue to do so. This is an extremely inspiring project for Playhouse Theatre Incorporated and we look forward to updating you on progress. We have $4,500 in our building fund. Increased our membership between the end of 2015 and the end of 2016.

5 Playhouse Theatre Incorporated presents Winter PTI Saturday July 8 th at 7.30 pm At The Playhouse Theatre Glen Eden We have some amazing talent performing for you, from people who have been involved with our club in the past, plus a few surprises & a special treat we have a special sneak peak performance by the cast of Disney The Little Mermaid JR. We want to fill all 240 seats and therefore the base price per ticket is a measly $ However, if you particularly like us we may allow you to tip us on the night. Our building project needs boosting, these last few rain and gale storms have just about done our storage and building sheds in. So, who would want to help us more than you our biggest fans?
