1 August HSA meeting First Day for All Students 1/2 Day For Students Welcome to Cook-Wissahickon School Chorus Little Treble s 3rd-5th Crescendos 6 th -8th
2 September Choir parent meeting 5:00PM Choir parent meeting 3:30PM in IMC Back to School Night 5:30-7:30 Green Day- Choir Singing (11-2) No School Parent Meeting General meeting to discuss events of the upcoming year. The meeting will begin at 5:00pm on Wednesday and 3:30 on Thursday in the IMC. Green Your Home and Community Event This will be our first performance of the year. Students will kick-off the Green your home and community event at Cook-Wissahickon at 11AM. Members are encouraged to stay and partake in this great event.
3 October Temple Football Movie Night UPENN 7:00pm Musical Parent Meeting 5:30PM Temple Football Game Students will be singing the National Anthem for the Temple Owl s football game vs. ECU. Tickets are $15 for those interested in attending. Theatre Department Movie Night In anticipation of the upcoming musical, we will be showing Beauty and the Beast in the playground. Bring along your blankets and chairs as we present an outdoor movie showing. UPENN Football Game Choir students will be singing the National Anthem for the UPENN football game vs. Yale. The game starts at 7:00pm and will be held at Franklin Field.
4 November T-Shirt Orders Due ½ Day ½ Day ½ Day ALL CITY REHEARSAL PARADE REHEARSAL Thanksgiving Parade ALL CITY REHEARSAL Thanksgiving Parade Students will be performing in the 6ABC Thanksgiving Day Parade live on TV. Those participating will receive a sweatshirt and patch. All City Chorus Students must audition to participate in this ensemble. Members accepted will miss school on Nov. 15, and 28. Performance will be held in December. T-Shirt Orders Choir members will receive one shirt for the year as part of their uniform. Parents who wish to order shirts will need to submit an order form by Nov. 2, 2018.
5 DECEMBER ALL CITY REHEARSAL Evening of the Arts Call time 5:00pm All City Rehearsal ALL CITY Flapjack Fundraiser 8:00am Annual School Concert Come see the musical talents of our students. Performances to be completed by the Choirs, Bucket Drumming Ensemble, and Drumming Alive. All City Chorus Select students will miss school on Dec. 11th for dress rehearsal. The performance for this group will be held at Temple Performing Arts Center. Doors open at 6PM with the performance at 7PM. Flapjack Fundraiser Join us for our annual flapjack fundraiser held at the Applebee s in Andorra. Students are encouraged to wear their favorite pajamas to support our breakfast theme. Win gift baskets, raffles, and door prizes.
