HELP US IDENTIFY THEM by asking them to apply to be a Student Ambassador (YOUR NAME goes in the first line of this form). They will get service hours for this important job. We are looking for volunteers whose children have been enrolled in or currently are attending a variety of middle schools. As a parent liaison you would help ensure RJR information is shared at the schools (some schools have lists, others send home paper copies we will make copies of invitations they would help them get distributed). Parent Liaisons would also be invited to attend the Prospective Family nights and talk about their experiences, why they chose RJR, and encourage others to get involved. Interested? Cross Country - The Boys Cross Country team finished 2nd overall at the CPC Championships and the girls team finished 4th and have qualified for Regionals. Annecy Daggett, Hannah Harris and Mary Brown were all top 20 for the girls. John Tatter, Todd Holbrook, Thomas Anthony, John Paynter, Anderson Ward, Jack Holbrook and Ian Creech were all top 20 for the boys. Field Hockey - RJR won their 1st round playoff match at Grimsley 3-0 on Wednesday. The Demons travel to #1 seed Chapel Hill on Tuesday for a 6:00 game for the Round of 8. Football- RJR Varsity travels to North Davidson tonight and West Forsyth next Friday. Each game is at 7:30 Golf - Becca Connelly shot an 85 at Regionals in Mooresville this Tuesday to qualify for the State Championships on Monday and Tuesday in Pinehurst. Soccer - Demons defeated SW Guilford and North Davidson this week. Two big CPC match ups this week at home vs. West Forsyth and Reagan that will lead to the playoffs. Tennis - RJR will have a first round playoff match on Tuesday at a

Volleyball - RJR will host Glenn on Monday at 6:00 in a playoff tune up.

8 Tennis - RJR will have a first round playoff match on Tuesday at a location TBD. The State Playoffs were pushed back one week due to the flooding in the eastern part of NC from Hurricane Matthew. Volleyball - RJR will host Glenn on Monday at 6:00 in a playoff tune up. The playoffs will be announced this week as they were also delayed one week. Winter sports will begin tryouts on Monday, October 31. All students will need a physical on file.
