3 To all students remember The junior class will be selling t-shirts in the mixing bowl during STEP. Shirts aree $10 each and must be paid for before your order will be placed. Take a look at the shirt design on the Class of 2016 bulletin board near the library. Again, juniors homecoming shirts will go on sale today during STEP in the mixing bowl. Sales will end on Friday, September 26 th. Shirts must be paid for in advance.

4 Attention senior writers! The Fran Abrams Creative Writing Award deadline is fast approaching! If you re an aspiring professional writer and have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0, you could win $1000 for your poetry, fiction or personal essay. The application deadline is October 1, so don t wait! For more details, please see your English teacher. Do you like to write short stories? If so, the Gaithersburg Book Festival Short Story Contest is seeking submissions. Submission deadline is February 20, For more information, talk to your English teacher.

5 Listen up, juniors! Class of 2016, these announcements are for you. First, we will be meeting after school today to work on homecoming halls. Report to Ms. Young s room immediately after school today.

6 Second, our garage sale is tomorrow. If you are planning on working at the garage sale, you should be here at 7:00 AM. The sale starts at 8 AM and ends at 1PM. Please encourage your friends and neighbors to come by and shop

8 Attention Debate: Our Wednesday practice has been moved because Wednesday is an early release day. Instead of meeting from 2:30-4:00; we will meet from 11:30-1:30 in Computer lab B118.

15 College visits are underway in the College/Career Center. Juniors and seniors are reminded to check the most up to date list of colleges scheduled to visit on the Family Connection website. This list can and does change daily. Colleges are still calling to be added to the schedule. Once a student signs up, he needs to print out his confirmation page and get it signed by his teacher. Please put these dates/times into your phone or agenda book so you don t miss a visit. And now for some wolverine sports
