The Association returns to the Texas Hill Country in Members, mark your calendar to join us at the beautiful La Cantera Hill Country Resort in San Antonio, Texas for the 62nd Annual Convention & Trade Show.

2 P A G E 2 PRESIDENT S MESSAGE With the end of the year drawing near I want to take some time and reflect on what I believe was a good year for our industry and the association. The convention in New Orleans was a good time for all. The 2014 convention will be at the La Cantera Resort in beautiful San Antonio, June 25-28, Plan to be there. The Fall Clay Shoot was great and we plan an even bigger and better event for Thank you to all the sponors and participants of the event and to Todd Hunt and his committee, Trey Harris and Brent Cannedy, for putting it together. The Fall Weekend Golf and Fishing tournament was a big success, as usual. A special thanks to Randy Newman for once again chairing the event. I would also like to thank all of the sponsors, participants and everyone on the committee, Ed Hiller, Rick Blackburn, Todd Hunt, Brent Cannedy and George Adams for their help. The Fall Weekend is a big part of the SCWCPA funding. I also want to thank Eddie and Yvonne for all their help during the year. As far as our industry, I believe that most everyone had a much better year and that this trend will continue. We are in for some changes with the energy codes evolving and the CI systems coming ever more prevelant. I know that our membership will be able to handle any and all challenges put in front of them. Your dedication and support is what drives us to push through and succeed. So as we go into 2014, please do not forget that we could not continue this organization without your support and feedback. I have said many times that the SCWCPA is like an extended family to all of us. So with that being said, please take a moment to send a quick e- mail or pick up the phone and wish some of your fellow members a Merry Christmas.
