3 Box Tops for Education The PE department is collecting Box Tops for Education. Please turn them in to your PE/Health teacher.

4 KEA Fannie May Holiday Fundraiser The KEA Fannie May fundraiser provides scholarships for former Kirby 140 students attending Andrew high school and planning a career in education. Orders must be placed by Friday, Nov. 10 th to receive by Christmas. Prices are 10% off retail and orders are shipped to your home.

5 Girls Basketball Good luck tomorrow at Simmons!

6 Student Council Student Council will meet after school until 4:05 pm on Tuesday. We will meet in Room 118.

7 Chorus Members of Chorus will rehearse Monday an Thursday after school in the Band room.

8 Jazz Band Jazz Band rehearses at Prairie View every Wednesday after school from 4:00-5:15 pm.

9 Respond Now Winter Clothing Drive Student Council is sponsoring a Winter Clothing Drive through Friday, Nov. 17 th. New and gently used coats, mittens, gloves, hats and scarves are being collected in the boxes outside of the Commons.

10 Boys Volleyball Come on out and cheer for the boys tomorrow at 4:15 pm as they take on Simmons.right here at Grissom!

11 Veteran s Day Do you know anyone who has served or is currently serving in a branch of the military? Complete the half-sheet, attach a picture and turn it in to Mrs. Prieto in Room 118 for our Veteran s Day display. Pictures will be returned.

12 Student ID s When attending afterschool activities such as games and dances, you must have your Grissom ID with you! You will not be admitted without it!

15 Intramurals Intramurals are held each week here at Grissom. Volleyball intramurals are held on Tuesdays, and Basketball intramurals are held on Thursdays. All intramurals are held from 7:45-8:25 am.

16 Student Support Before and after school Student Support is offered from 8:00-8:35 am each morning, and from 3:10-4:05 pm Monday through Thursday. You must arrive at the beginning of the session and stay for the whole time!

17 Water Bottle Filling Station Challenge Last year Grissom Patriots saved over 6,600 plastic water bottles from ending up in landfills by using the water bottle filling stations throughout the building. Please remember to use these instead of plastic bottles. So far this year, we ve saved 3,446 bottles from landfills! Let s beat last year s total!
