1 Grin-n-Square It The "Fun Club" of El Monte NEWSLETTER 2015 Editors: Connie and Bob Macomber PRESIDENTS MESSAGE Hello again boys and girls, Well, here we are in August already. Time is really zooming by. For those of you who may be interested, the RIVCO Square Dance Festival in Indio is approaching. If you would like to attend, please check the flier table for fliers and get them filled out soon. Hotel rooms fill fast. Our new dancer class will begin Sept. 22 at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Temple City on the corner of Halifax and Freer. Come out on Tuesday nights for a little dancing and help support your new dancers. Believe it or not, I m at a loss for more stuff to say. That doesn t happen very often. Pat and I would like to wish you all a great summer and if you have travel plans for vacation, travel safe and have a great trip. Well, it seems that s all I have for now. See you all in a square. DRAWING Buck and Joan Burkhart s name was drawn for the July visitation to the Chevron Squares and they were there. The pot now starts over. Special Thanks I want to thank everyone who has given me the support that I really needed when I lost my parents. Especially, I want to thank Joan Burkhart, who has been my lifeline and is still holding me up because I m still struggling with the loss. Thank you all, Cheri Van Fleet.
