4 Visiting Team Information General Information Lynx Arena Court Surface: Lynx Soccer Field: Lynx Stadium Surface: Wooden Parquet Floor Natural Grass Field Turf Day before Practice/Walk Through If you desire to practice or hold a walk through prior to the game, please contact the Belleville Facilities staff, Tommy Richards or Bill Chaffin, at (618) or at bvfacilities@lindenwood.edu, to arrange a time. Advance notice will be required in order to gain access to a locker room during this time. Visiting Team Liaison Your visiting team liaison will be issued by our Events Director, Logan Johnson. When you arrive on game day we will escort you to your locker room(s) and accommodate you with anything you need. If you have any questions or need anything during your stay please contact our Events Director, Logan Johnson at (618) or via at ljohnson@lindenwood.edu. Visiting Team Bus Parking The visiting team s bus can park in the parking lot marked Schumacher Lot. This is located in between the tennis courts and soccer field. Visiting Team Locker Room The visiting team locker room will be labeled. A key will be provided to you for your locker room so it is secured during the game. Video Information Upon request, copies of the game film can be provided to your team. Give your request of how many copies you would like before the start of the competition to our Sports Information Director, Ben Mizera at (618) or via at bmizera@lindenwood.edu. 4

5 Cheerleader Information If your wish to bring your cheerleading squad; please contact our Cheer / Spirit Squad Coach Stephanie McGovern at (618) Medical Information If you are not going to travel with a certified athletic trainer, please contact Stephen Slone at (618) or sslone@lindenwood.edu, to arrange treatments and other necessities ahead of time. The athletic training room will be available two hours prior to the game. Please call ahead if you need the facility prior to any practices to verify it will be available. *See page 6 for additional athletic training information and page 7 for hospital information. 5

6 ATHLETIC TRAINING Visiting Team On behalf of our Sports Medicine staff, we would like to take the opportunity to welcome you and your athletic team to Lindenwood University-Belleville and Belleville, IL. We look forward to an enjoyable and injury free contest. The athletic training room is located in suite 113 in the Lynx Arena and/or first floor of the G-building on the Lindenwood University-Belleville campus. The athletic training room will be open approximately two hours before game time. There will be ice, hydro-collator, whirlpool, ultrasound, and electrical stimulation available for your use. Please notify us if a certified athletic trainer will not be traveling with the team. If your team is not traveling with a certified athletic trainer, we ask that you send treatment instructions with the athletes and the necessary supplies that will be needed. A certified athletic trainer will be present on the Lindenwood University-Belleville bench if assistance is needed during contests. The following supplies will be present for you during the contest: Ten gallon cooler with ice and water Ice, ice bags, plastic wrap, and a scoop Cups and/or water bottles Biohazard bag Splints and emergency equipment will be available on the home sideline, if needed.
