We can not thank you enough to help us spread the word on our unique events. January reflections : "Eighth of January" Old Time Music Weekend! The "Old Time Dust" is settling with excitement from the grand memories and new tunes in my head and heart to share! The feedback from everyone that attended the "Eighth Of January" Old Time weekend has been so overwhelmingly positive! The instructors, the mini concerts, Ben & Suzy's foodies, and George Gruhn's lecture ; ALL hit it out of the ball park! The Event Kicked off with a staff concert including Alan O'Bryant's special celebration song of the 200 th anniversary of the Battle of New Orleans. I can't thank everyone enough! It is a real treat for to see the vision of the Musical Heritage Center come to fruition. Seeing folks come from all over to experience, share and learn about Old Time Music in our little corner of the world in Pegram, TN! Special thanks to the folks that helped us sponsoring 6 kids to attend this event! Oh, and I must set the record straight; Cotton Music is the longest running music store in Nashville. January announcements: January 30 Plaidgrass plays the Nashville Contra Dance January 31 Pickin' Party on SATURDAY NIGHT at the Fiddle & Pick (see flyer ad) Feb announcements: Feb 7 (Slower)IRISH SESSION & Learn a tune 2:00-4:00 Feb 21 Sat Pickin' Party Feb 28 Gretchen & Tim PLAIDGRASS in concert at First Baptist Church in Pegram ; (behind Fiddle 7 Pick) Dinner at 6:00 & show is at 7:00 The evenings proceeds go to the youth programs including their mission trips.

Feb 5 Thurs Gypsy Jazz Jam night Regularly Hosted by Tim May or Stan Lawrence. Jazz night usually meets on the 1 st & 3 rd Thurs each month 7:30-10:30 call Stan to get on the group e mail so you are in the know (before you drive out.) This jam is an inclusive open forum with in house books provided. Intermediate and up level. Spectators are welcome & its Free! It is fun; not stuffy!
