Please see Mrs. Lassing. The annual Festus Band Boosters Scholarship application is now available in the Counseling Center. Only applications received on or before April 30 will be considered. Applicants must: 1. have held membership in Band classes during high school 2. continue music education as a major, minor, or course work 3. have cumulative GPA of 3.33 or above Prom Ticket pick up will be until Thursday 4/19. TODAY IS THE LAST DAY. Pick up times are before/after school and during lunch. Passes will not be written for students to pick up during class time. Any questions see Ms.VanBibber
3 Volleyball meeting for anyone interested in High School Volleyball next year on Tuesday, April 24 at 7am in the High School theater. Renaissance Zoo Trip Permission Slips can be picked up in the front office. All Permission Slips must be turned into Mrs. Lassing no later than Friday, April 27th. Jrs. and Srs. have a permissions slip and Soph. and Fr. have a permissions slip. Be sure you get the right one. Hello everyone, The Rocket Club could really use your help. We have qualified to go to the Team America Rocketry Challenge national competition again this year in Washington DC on May 12th. This is a very big expense for the self funded club of 10; this year, the total is going to be around $8,000. You can help out this year by purchasing one of our fundraising t shirts. They cost $20 each. Checks should be made payable to Festus High School. Fill out the Google Form linked below to place your order by next Friday, April 20th. Wednesday May 9, 2018 Rocket Club will be holding a PJ Fundraiser for $1.00. Please support ROCKET CLUB and wear you most comfortable pajama s (dress code appropriate:) Reminder: The weather is getting warmer and we need to remember that dress code is being enforced. Dresses and shirts off the shoulder do not meet dress code. Shorts should be appropriate length and jeans with holes must be lower than the appropriate short length.
4 Students and Staff: Free baseball tickets!! The Varsity and JV baseball teams are playing at GCS stadium Home of the Gateway Grizzlies in Sauget, Illinois on Wed. April 18th vs. Seckman. The Varsity plays at 4 pm with the JV to follow. We have free tickets available. See Coach Montgomery for tickets and information. Come on out and support your Tigers! Students are to ONLY PARK IN THE HIGH SCHOOL LOT. Please do not park in elementary, intermediate, middle or Mid Meadow Lane. Also, please do not do any u turns by those buildings. Your cooperation with this issue is GREATLY appreciated! Student Food Service Advisory will be April 25th instead of the 11th at 1:56 Senior Speech Sign Ups. Try outs will be on April 30th. Please see Mrs. Lassing in the front office to sign up and pick up the Guidelines for Senior speeches. Summer School Packets Available at all the offices.
