2 The Prez Sez: I hope everybody has had a great ski season and I really hope some of you still have some ski days left in this year. I ve skied many years into April and with the huge snowfalls they have had out west, some of the resorts will be open for quite a while. Get out there and tear it up and then come back and brag and make the rest of us jealous. A great place to do your ski bragging is at our Post-Trip Picture Party. This year the party is being held on April 7 at the Villa Nova West, on Columbia Ave. This is a great opportunity to meet up with other club members and compare pictures and stories from this season. But don t just bring this year s pictures along, bring all that you have from years past. If you are bringing your pictures on a computer, bring some thumb drives or cables along to share or download other s pictures. Everyone enjoys a good trip down memory lane. All of those ski trips take a lot of research and planning. This is the time of year when that process starts. Jon and the trip committee will be meeting in the near future to review trip surveys and start the bidding process for next year s trips. If you would like to be involved in the trip planning process or would like to be considered to run a trip, contact Jon or myself. We are always looking for people who want to join in. If you have moves that you want to show off, dance moves that is, we have the event for you. We are having this year s annual Spring Dance at Meadia Heights Golf Club on April 22. Bob Noble and Blue Voo Doo had the dance floor filled all evening at the packed Holiday Party and they will be back to do the same at this event. Discounted tickets are available until April 1, so don t delay. Details for this and other upcoming events can be found in this flyer. I hope to see everyone at these fabulous upcoming events. 3 LSC 2017 Spring Dance On Saturday April 22, join the signature LSC social event of the year that brings club members together for an evening of socializing, dining, honors and recognitions, music, and of course - dancing! This year s spring dance is being held from 6:00PM to 11:00PM at the Meadia Heights Golf Club in Lancaster (402 Golf Road). The Social Hour runs from 6:00PM to 6:30PM, followed by the dinner, recognitions, and the dance from 6:30PM to 11:00PM. Live music by Bob Noble & Blue Voo Doo. The buffet dinner includes Beef Tips Diane with Noodles, Chicken Marsala, Stuffed Shells with Marinara, Caesar Salad, Seasoned Vegetables, Roasted Red Potatoes, and Dessert Sundae Bar. In addition, there will be a cash bar for the entire evening. Tickets are available from me and cost $60 per person if purchased by 4/1/17, and then cost $65 per person afterwards. Also, tickets are available for $55 per person if an entire table of tickets are purchased by 4/1/17. RSVP required by 4/8/17, and unfortunately tickets cannot be purchased after 4/8/17, nor at the door. See you there!
