Your executive board has just finished a planning session for It was decided that something was missing: Y O U!! The strength, the growth, the excitement of an organization does not come from the Executive Board, it comes from: Y O U!! The five of us might have come up with three or four good ideas at our meeting. We know, however, that there a good number of Y O U! out there with good ideas. Along with this letter you will find a survey. Please complete the survey online at whpa.tripod.com, or simply enclose it with your 2012 WHPA Membership form. You can also mail it to WHPA, W6868 Brown Rd, Fond du Lac, WI We need and value your input. Secondly, enclosed is our brand new WHPA brochure which has details on our organization in capsule form. It is an excellent recruitment tool. Thirdly, enclosed is a flyer for you to use in signing up new, or prior, members. There is also a newsletter subscription form as part of the flyer. Our Wisconsin newsletter is the BEST newsletter in the entire NHPA and everyone should have a subscription. Fourthly, enclosed is an updated copy of the 2012 pitching schedule. Please attend as many tournaments ad possible. Mark your calendar now! Lastly, enclosed is a flyer for the 2012 state in Eau Claire. Be sure to get your tournaments in early. The deadline is July 31 st and you must have competed in a minimum of three sanctioned events (sanctioned league may be used for one event) between to to be eligible. In closing, please complete the survey and use the enclosed materials to promote, foster and develop the game of horseshoe pitching.
