1 , April 4 th, 2017 Hello Everybody Come celebrate 27 years of dancing, at the Moose Promenaders Anniversary Dance and Pot Luck Dinner this Thursday, from 6:15-7:00 pm, Class Dance, 7-8:30 pm, Regular dance,8:30-10 pm. We plan on having many guests so please bring a covered dish that would serve at least 4-6 people. A great time of dancing last Thursday night as the squares responded to Bill Chesnut s calls.

2 The round dancers took their turn on the floor, mostly to the left. It wasn t all about dancing, there was some winning too. Laura Martin won the Drawing worth $38! Suzanne Tower won the Free Pass ticket. No numbers were drawn for the Last Tip.

3 April Birthdays and Anniversaries Because of the Anniversary Dance this Thursday, we will be celebrating April birthdays and anniversaries on April 13 th. Moose to the Rescue! I couldn t be more pleased with the positive response I received when I sent out an SOS for dancers to help us steal the Dixie Dancers banner. 6 people contacted me within 12 hours. Thank you, Moose Promenaders! I asked and received. You are the greatest! Yellow Rock, Mary Giera Mary Giera, Banner Co-Chair, reports on the last banner raid. The Moose was well represented at the Dangle dance on April Fool s Day at Silver Fox Squares in Starke. We stole their banner! Those earning the coveted Moose Banner Button were: Bill and Paula Dion Jim Maroldo Lillie and Manuel Irizarry Those also on the banner raid who had previously earned and were sporting their Moose Banner Buttons: Debbie & Wayne Miller Laura Martin Chuck and Mary Giera After the dance we all went for ice cream in Starke to help celebrate Debbie Miller s birthday! This Tuesday, April 4, we re on our way to Lake City to hopefully steal the Dixie Dancers banner! Dixie Dancers are not starting until 7 pm. More buttons will be awarded. The Moose Banner Button, made by George Tower, shows the world that the bearer has been helping the club during the year 2017 by participating in a banner raid.

4 Hopefully by the end of 2017 each of our members will have earned a Moose Banner Button. Thanks to all who are helping the club and having fun dancing at other clubs by participating in banner raids and retrievals Wear your blue and white April 4th to Lake City then again April 6 to our pot luck/anniversary dance.
