Starting Friday, June 13 th both outdoor pools, Hilltop and Acacia, will be open on a daily basis. For more information please call (310) Summer Camps! 2 Point Click Play June 2014 Solvang & Chumash Casino Resort Solvang was an original Danish settlement founded in 1911 and still retains its authentic charm and old world feel. Founded by Danish educators where the heritage and customs carry on daily. You will have the day to discover all its great specialty shops, restaurants and bakeries on your own. You can tour the Spanish Mission Santa Ines and the grounds and gardens. We will stop at the Chumash Casino just outside the town of Solvang. The casino has a shuttle between the town and casino. 4 Camp Cowabunga (6-10 Years) CAMP COWABUNGA is a summer FUN Camp. Supervised by trained Recreation Staff, you will enjoy an active and awesome summer. Each week offers a wide variety of activities from sports, arts & crafts, field trips to amusement and water parks, beach excursions and much more! This full-day drop-off program caters to all schedules allowing parents to drop-off before and pick-up after work for a nominal additional fee. Come out for the FUN this summer! Presale wristbands will be available at the George E. Gordon Clubhouse beginning June 16th. A maximum of 4 free wristbands per adult resident will be issued with a valid Recreation ID Card. Additional wristbands may be purchased for $5 each. Wristbands available for: Stevenson Field: Entry begins at 4:45 PM on July 4. Softball Field: Entry for priority blanket seating will take place between 8-9 AM on July 4. Re-entry will begin at 4:45 PM. Stevenson Field Grandstand Seating: All wristband holders must be in their seat no later than 8:30 PM. General Admission Opportunities Stevenson Field: $5 General Admission; Free for children 2 and Under Stevenson Field Grandstand: $5 (space permitting) Recreation Park (except Stevenson Field and Softball Fields) will be closed all day on July 4 including all picnic areas.
