Each month, the PTO Executive Board nominates and votes on McCormick volunteers who have gone above and beyond in their dedication and service to our school. For the month of January, the PTO Board selected Lori Barnett to be awarded Volunteer of the Month for their contributions to McCormick Elementary. Not only is Lori a constant presence in her children's classrooms, but she is responsible for the amazing partnership McCormick Elementary has with Target in Milford. McCormick has benefited from Target's generosity at every event we have held this year and we are grateful for their support. Thank you, Lori, for sharing so many of your talents and so much of your time with us!

3 Out with the old and in with the new! We are revamping our theme for the Mother-Son Dance by going back in time to the 1950 s. Mother - Son Sock Hop Friday, February 10, :00 PM 9:00 PM McCormick Auditeria Highlights include a Live DJ, Dance Contests, Costume Contests, Chocolate Fountain with dipping treats, commemorative photo, and much more! Dress up for mom in your favorite shirt and tie and moms dress up too! Better yet come in your best 1950 s costume and win a prize! Break out the poodle skirts, black leather jackets, pony tails, and slick back hair. If your mom cannot come, bring your grandma, aunt, or special friend. Cost is $15.00 in advance per couple, or $20 at the door Help support McCormick PTO by eating at Buffalo Wild Wings in Milford on Friday, February 10! BW3s will donate back 10% of your bill for carryout or dine in. Just show the attached flier in paper form or on your phone, and tell them you are with McCormick Elementary. This is the day of the Mother Son Dance so feel free to eat there for dinner before the dance.
