In just a few weeks, we will be having our annual 3K event. We would love to continue our tradition of providing a t-shirt to every student, staff member, and volunteer. However, we are in need of more businesses or families to make t-shirt donations. If your business or your family would be willing to make a donation of $300 or more, we will place your business name or family name on the back of each shirt as a way of showing our appreciation for your generosity. (In order for us to place your company s or family s name on our shirts, we will need t-shirt donations by April 1 st.) Castle North Middle School s Student Council would like to express appreciation to our growing list of donors for the upcoming 3K event. We would like to thank the following businesses and families for their generosity: Team Health at St. Mary s, Dr. David Hazelrigg, Dr. James Gill, Dr. Gerald Enlow, B & B Mowing, Bayer Plumbing, Cannon Concrete, Swonder Ice Skating Rink, SERVUS, RC Cola, Wayback Burgers, Just for Kids Dentistry, Rick Wambach, the Joshi family, the Shah family, the Spurling family, the Susec family, Francie Renschler, and the CNMS PTO. We also would like to thank Jana Ulrey of Media Mix Communications for her help and support. We are still in need of help! This event cannot happen without the support of our families and community. We are still in need of donations for fruit pops, door prizes, and awards. If you would be willing to offer assistance, please contact Ms. Killebrew (skillebrew@warrick.k12.in.us) or Mrs. Etienne (aetienne@warrick.k12.in.us). CNMS 3K Run/Walk Event Tuesday, May 10th

We will be discussing the upcoming Honor s Reception on April 12 from 7:00 PM-8:00 PM, Teacher Appreciation Week scheduled May 9-13, 8th Grade Trip to King s Island, Give Back opportunities from Sky Zone (April 7) and AZZIP (April 20), possible Back to School Bash plans and open positions for next year. All are welcome! 6th Grade Bridge Building With just 100 popsicle sticks and Elmer s glue, Mr. Clodfelter s and Mr. Reed s Enrichment students built bridges with the goal of creating the bridge that could withstand the most weight. Remarkably, two bridges were able to hold over 175 pounds! Thank You from SOS The See Our Stars Sponsors and Crew would like to thank all of you for your kindness and generosity. The Canned Good Sabotage and donations given for the evening performance accumulated a total of $ and a record-breaking amount of approximately 1300 items! The entire CNMS Faculty and See Our Stars Crew voted for an act in each grade to be awarded with fifty dollars generously donated by the CNMS PTO to be given to a charity of their choosing. It proved to be a very difficult decision as all participants had phenomenal performances! Here are the winners: Sixth Grade: Layla Wandel, Voice and Acoustic Guitar Seventh Grade: Shelby Stevens, Gymnastics Eighth Grade: Rylie Rinehart, Voice and Piano For those who may be interested, DVDs of this year's See Our Stars performance are now on sale. For more information, forms are available by the cafeteria. Thank you once again for your generosity, Mrs. Hogan, Mrs. Martin, Mr. King, SOS Sponsors CNMS Archery Club After our two archery teams placed 2nd and 10th at the State Tournament in Indianapolis, Indiana where thirty-six middle schools competed, we took a little break to rejuvenate. Our Team 1 finished in 2nd place at that tournament by just 3 points. That is like losing a race by less than 1 second. Now, we are gearing up for a seven tournament run over the next seven weekends. Our first tournament was held in Boonville this past Saturday and we will finish in Louisville, Kentucky on Saturday, May 14. We are so proud of all 96 archers on our team this year who have all made great strides and continue to do so. Mr. Reed & Mr. Clodfelter, Archery Club Sponsors
