1 JR. DIGGER CLINIC - MODIFIED & JV LEVELS - GRADES 6-9 TH * JV level athletes (8 th & 9 th graders) are encouraged to attend this clinic for extra reps prior to the Volleyball. JV level athletes will be grouped together (JV PREP GROUP) to better prepare for JV tryouts. Dates: June 26th-29th (Tuesday-Friday) *LIMITED to 50 athletes! Time/Location: 8:30-10:00 in High School Gymnasium **Please do not arrive prior to 8:15. Includes camp t-shirt (tee size guaranteed if registration received by May 25th) Effort, spirit & improvement prizes given out daily! 2 JR. DIGGER CLINIC-MODIFIED & JV LEVELS - GRADES 6-9 TH (Tuesday-Friday) Please have rides at school on time. For female athletes entering grades 6 th -9 th (modified & JV levels) Athletes will learn the fundamental volleyball skills, team drills and rotational positions to better prepare for Modified & JV tryouts. We will have different levels of training offered: 1. New players-no experience is needed 2. Modified Level players 3. *JV PREP Level -for athletes wishing to the JV level. We are encouraging all athletes who plan to try out for JV attend the for extra reps prior to the JV. Our coaching staff will consist of the BCS coaching staff, CVAC coaches and current BCS varsity volleyball players to assist and demonstrate in drills. VOLLEYBALL ACADEMY (JV & VARSITY LEVELS) *Athletes do NOT have to attend both sessions; daily & weekly rates are available. Week #1: 10:00-12:00 (follows ) : (no this week) JV LEVEL - designed for athletes preparing for the JV level. These sessions will emphasize the development of passing, digging, setting, serving consistency, competitive drills and team competitions. Every aspect of the game is covered throughout our sessions, giving the athlete a solid skill foundation. We encourage any middle school aged athlete to attend the Junior Digger Camp prior to signing up for the JV level (8th-10th graders) VARSITY LEVEL- designed for athletes preparing for the varsity level. These high performance sessions will emphasize advanced positional skills and techniques for the athlete. Advanced level skills such as: jump serving, setter training, blocking, libero development, quick tempo offense and read defense will be taught (10th-12th graders-incoming college freshman are allowed to attend). *If you are unsure which level to choose please contact any of the coaches below for more information. NO registration deadline for either camp. Athletes may still be allowed to sign up the first day, but are NOT guaranteed their preferred t-shirt size (but will receive a t-shirt) and Mizuno knee pads.
