1 Ace Portrait Studio, Inc S. King Street Honolulu, HI April 29, 2016 To The Senior Class of 2017: Ace Portrait is the official photographer for Roosevelt High School s Yearbook. Ace would like to Thank You! for having us do your 2017 senior portraits. We are the only studio that is dropping in backgrounds for yearbook. We also offer over 4,400 background choices, which will be unique for your Senior Class. Your yearbook background is going to be decided by your yearbook staff. For your personal orders you will be able to create and customize your own photos. You will sit next to us as you make your selection, request retouching, add multiple poses and select background choices. We are looking forward to working with you. Below is some important information you should know. Senior Yearbook Photos: Each student will have 18 poses (7) formal poses in suit (boys) or drape (girls), (3) ¾ pose on conventional background with your own outfit for the yearbook, and (8) additional poses for your personal order with your own 2 nd outfit. Ace will only provide the formal outfit for the yearbook so bring your own outfit for the ¾ pose. Please abide by the Roosevelt Student Handbook for appropriate dress code. * Girls: Ace provides a White Drape and Necklace for your yearbook formal pose. Girls must bring a tube top or strapless top for drape, which will go over your top. Also bring 2 additional outfits for yearbook ¾ pose and personal poses. * Boys: Ace will provide a White Suit and Black Shirt for your yearbook formal pose. Boys must bring 2 additional outfits - one shirt and pants for your yearbook ¾ pose and another shirt for your personal poses. Appearance: Boys should be clean-shaven, and shirt and pants neatly pressed. Girls should wash hair 1 or 2 days before picture taking day. Outfits should be neatly pressed and you may bring any jewelry for your personal photos. Most importantly, get a good nights rest! Charges: From June 1 to June 30, the sitting fee for seniors is $24.00, (optional) retouching is $10.00 and a mandatory color fee for Roosevelt Yearbook is $10.00, bringing the total to $ From July 1 to July 31, the sitting fee is $38.00, (optional) retouching is $10.00, and yearbook color fee is $10.00, total is $ From August 1 to August 15, the sitting fee is $65.00, (optional) retouching is $12.00, and color school fee is $10.00, total is $ Make-Ups after August 15 th : ROOSEVELT HIGH SCHOOL WILL DETERMINE WHICH SATURDAY MAKE- UP SESSION FOR THOSE SENIORS WHO DID NOT TAKE PICTURES DURING SUMMER. THE SITTING IS $75.00, RETOUCHING IS $15.00 AND SCHOOL COLOR FEE IS $10.00, TOTAL IS $100.00

2 Appointments: All seniors must call Ace Portrait at for scheduling an appointment. All times are on a First Come First Serve basis so DO NOT CALL LAST MINUTE FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT TIME. Any cancellations or rescheduling must be made 24-hours in advance or you will be charged $ NO SHOW will also be charged $ Business hours are Monday thru Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Please try to come 5 minutes before your scheduled time to freshen up. Dressing rooms are also available. Retouching: Basic retouching includes blemish removal, lightening bags under eyes, and removal of stray hairs. Special retouching, which is braces removal, opening eyes, filling/lifting/shaping hair, and removing suntan lines is $ Previews: You will view your poses on our computer immediately after your sitting. You will then make your yearbook selection. If you are unable to decide which pose to use for your personal photos, we do offer a contact sheet, which includes all poses printed on 8.5x11 sheet for $8.00. Previews are (8) poses of 4x5 prints available for $ Personal orders: When ordering our personal photos, you may select your own background. We offer over 4,500 digital backgrounds for you to choose from, and you can also choose to do a single pose or multiple (collage) poses. We will do all artwork or special effects on the computer in front of you. We do also offer free pictures so please refer to attached flyer for our Early Bird Specials (limited time only). Deposit on UNDECIDED PACKAGE: Should you decide on a background, collage, name & year, retouching and yearbook pose for your personal order, But! Can t decide what package you would like to order. There will be a charge for all artwork, except yearbook pose and background. You may also put a deposit of a $ down to qualify for free photos in EARLY BIRD SPECIAL. (See special in the back) Should you decide not to order senior package, there be no cash refund, your deposit we would credit the whole amount in the future towards any orders or outdoor sitting. Payments: Sitting, retouching, artwork, color fee or previews must be paid in full on the same day of your photo session. All personal orders require a minimal 50% deposit to start your order. We accept cash or checks, Mastercard, Visa or Discover Cards. Return checks will be charged $ Parking & Location: There is limited customer parking behind Trophy House, otherwise meter parking on South King Street, Monday to Friday mornings till 3:30 p.m., and all day on Saturdays.
