1 Oak Park Cheer Volunteer Job Descriptions PHOTOGRAPHERS (Varsity -2 and JV-2) Photograph all games and events Add albums to Facebook page and post pictures Save all photos to a flash drive to be given to team moms for year end video Please enlist another volunteer to take photos if you cannot be at an event GAME DAY SIGNS Pick up game day signs from coaches at the OPC Shed on the track Place signs out at designated locations in Oak Park Thursday Night before a home game Place signs in the center divider in the grassy areas to be seen clearly (Kanan signs) PLEASE BE SAFE when placing and picking up the signs. Use caution when stopping on the side of Kanan and/or crossing Kanan A parent must be the one placing the signs. Girls are not to do this alone! Pick up signs Friday evening after the home game Return all game day signs to coaches at the OPC Shed on the track Locations: Brookside Elementary/Mae Boyer area, and Kanan (Smoketree to Deerhill) Oak Hills Elementary, and Kanan (Doubletree to Churchwood) Red Oak Elementary, and Kanan (Churchwood to Lindero Canyon Corner) VARSITY TEAM DINNERS On Friday Night HOME games 2-3 Varsity parents to host the varsity team dinner at a local home Host all varsity girls from the hours of 3:00pm-5:00pm Food will be provided from OPC dinner fund for home games
2 JV TEAM DINNERS On Friday Night HOME games 2-3 Varsity parents to provide dinner to all JV girls after the JV game Dinner will be delivered to the track by 5:45PM, help to set up once delivered Healthy option dinners to all girls Make sure the area is cleaned up of all food and trash after the girls eat VARSITY AWAY GAME SNACK BAGS On Friday Night AWAY games 2-3 parents to provide a healthy option snack bag to all Varsity girls before departure from OPHS. Deliver snack bags to coaches 30 minutes prior to the bus leaving OPHS (Tennis Courts) Departure times will vary, we will let you know the times of departure the week of the game. JV AWAY GAME SNACK BAGS On Friday Night AWAY games 2-3 parents to provide a healthy option snack bag to all JV girls before departure from OPHS. Deliver snack bags to coaches 30 minutes prior to the bus leaving OPHS (Tennis Courts) Departure times will vary, we will let you know the times of departure the week of the game. DOUBLE DAY VOLUNTEERING Monday (Day 1) Set up 7:30AM-8:00AM- Arrive at lower entrance to track to help in setting up all Pop up tents, tables, snacks, water and water coolers.

TUESDAY (DAY2) Set up 7:30AM-8:00AM- Arrive at track in front of bleachers to help in setting up all Pop up tents, tables, snacks, water and water coolers. Set up 12:00PM-12:30PM- Arrive at track in front of bleachers to track with 10X gallon water jugs, refill water coolers, and ice chest for towels Deliver at 2:45PM- 35 Popsicles to the track in front of bleachers to the track Take down 3:00PM-4:00PM- Arrive at track in front of bleachers to the track to help take down Pop up tents, tables, snacks, water and water coolers. FRIDAY (DAY5) Set up 7:30AM-8:00AM- Arrive at track in front of bleachers to help in setting up all Pop up tents, tables, snacks, water and water coolers. Set up 12:00PM-12:30PM- Arrive at track in front of bleachers to track with 10X gallon water jugs, refill water coolers, and ice chest for towels Deliver at 2:45PM- 35 Popsicles to the track in front of bleachers to the track Take down 3:00PM-4:00PM- Arrive at track in front of bleachers to the track to help take down Pop up tents, tables, snacks, water and water coolers. HOMECOMING COORDINATOR Works with coaching staff and team moms in the organization and execution of all areas of the Homecoming Celebration. Coordinates all other volunteer positions and updates team mom/coaches as needed. HOMECOMING COMMITTEE Works with ASB (for theme) & the Cheer Homecoming Coordinator in planning and purchasing appropriate bleacher/box decorations to carry out the current year s homecoming theme. Delivers decorations to field for set up. HOMECOMING FLOWER WREATHS Requires creativity and attention to detail. Responsible for sourcing crowns and/or supplies for the making of crowns. Assemble crowns as needed. Recruit more help if required. Crown design to be approved by Head Coach. HOMECOMING SET UP
5 Arrives at the field by 12:00pm to help with set up of boxes and eagle, decorate the eagle, bleachers and cheer boxes, hang light strands, etc All decorating needs to be completed by 2pm. HOMECOMING TAKE DOWN Stays after the game to help put all decorations, lights, cheer boxes, etc. away in the shed. HOMECOMING VARSITY HAIR Meet at team dinner host home to help curl hair and put in flower wreaths - may need more than 6 to help with 20 team members HOMECOMING JV HAIR Arrive at OPHS by 2:30pm and meet in cheer/dance room to help curl hair before the game and also put in flower crowns CHEER CLINIC COORDINATOR (OCTOBER) Works with coaching staff and team mom in the organization and execution of all areas of the Cheer Clinic. Coordinates all other volunteer positions, equipment needed and updates team mom/coaches as needed. Organizes t-shirts and bows by size for ease of pickup at registration. Creates name labels for volunteers and cheer team members. Communicates game performance schedule to participant families and checks in/organizes all participants prior to start of game. Generates game day attendance roster for participants. CHEER CLINIC REGISTRATION LEAD Gathers supplies needed for registration, generates Check-in/same day registration sheet with participant info. Makes duplicate sets for multiple check in lines. Makes copies of participant waiver & liability release forms. Generates name labels for participants. Makes any needed directional signage. Handles payments and logs all checks/cash. Returns all registration documents back to Cheer Clinic Coordinator & Coaches. Arrives 30 mins prior to the opening of registration, handles registration and check in for the 1 hour prior to clinic start, and stays 30 mins after to consolidate payments and forms. Total shift is 2 hours.

Total shift is 2 hours. CHEER CLINIC FLIER DISTRIBUTION Contacts Oak Park middle and elementary schools to include flier in communications and delivers display with fliers to front offices. Works with OP Football Program Editor to include flier in weekly editions. CHEER CLINIC T-SHIRTS & BOWS Works with coaches in designing logo and shirt color to coordinate with current year theme. Researches and prices t-shirt production. Works with Cheer Clinic Coordinator in compiling sizes needed from registration forms and schedules order placement to ensure on time delivery for clinic. Also sources ribbon and makes hair bows for participants. CHEER CLINIC SNACK & DRINKS Arrives at start of clinic to set up snack/drink table and stays to help distribute during the snack break about half way through clinic. Cleans up after snack break. CHEER CLINIC SET UP Arrives 1 hour prior to the opening of Registration to help set up tables, tablecloths, chairs, set out t-shirts/bows, hang posters and any decorations. CHEER CLINIC TAKE DOWN

9 Works with coaching staff and team mom in the organization and execution of all areas of the Senior Night details. Coordinates all other volunteer positions, equipment needed and updates team mom/coaches as needed. Ensures the gifts, flowers, and crowns are ready for the Seniors and their families. COMMUNITY SERVICE PROJECT COORDINATOR Works with coaching staff and team mom in the organization and execution of all areas of the team community service project. Researches a project and a charity to be the service project for the year. Makes a connection with the charity, and communicates our intent to give back to our community. Get all supplies needed for the project Communicate to team all directions to see the project through to delivery Connect with the Acorn to get the girls and their project in the community newspaper COMMUNITY SERVICE PROJECT COMMITTEE Works with the team and parents for donations to execute the project. Works with coordinator to get all supplies needed for the project (donated) SANTA COMES TO AGOURA COORDINATOR Works with coaching staff, team moms, and Westlake Juniors Coordinator in the organization and execution of all areas of Santa Comes to Agoura. Communicate to coaches and team mom what our team will be doing/ bringing to the event THE GREAT RACE COORDINATOR Works with coaching staff, team moms, and City of Agoura Representative in the organization and execution of all areas of coordinating our team to walk as a group in the Great Race. Communicate all information Organize what girls will wear
10 Make Oak Park Cheer stand out and prepare them to walk in the Great Race CHEER BANQUET COORDINATOR Works with coaching staff and team moms in the organization and execution of all areas of the End of the Year Cheer Banquet.
