2 WHY SPONSOR A CITY OF HURRICANE EVENT? The City of Hurricane hosts numerous events throughout the year that have become a staple in the community. Each year, Hurricane s Fairs & Festivals continue to grow and accommodate everyone. Why do these events grow each year? The events offer a multitude of activities and exciting things like fireworks, exciting and unique vendors, food and snacks, inflatables and rock walls, hayrides and horse drawn carriage rides, live entertainment from bands across the country, face painting, games, and the list continues. All these and more come at a cost of nothing to those who attend. These events are made possible by sponsorships, volunteers, and fundraising. Why sponsor these events? Visibility at community events in front of thousands of indebted individuals that appreciate these gatherings is the best type of value a business can receive.

3 International Events Group, Inc. (the worldwide authority on the sponsorship industry) revealed that festivals have more loyalty than NASCAR. Also, the survey revealed that 78% of companies agree that participating in festivals has a measurable impact on consumer sales of their product. Past year s Hurricane Events Sponsors have said these events are their most successful appearances outside of the workplace. 4 DESCRIPTION OF EVENTS MAIN STREET SPRING FESTIVAL ATTENDANCE: 3,500+ The Main Street Spring Festival is held the first Saturday in May each year. Main Street is shut down, and the street is packed full with vendors, food, a BBQ cook off, the area s biggest Talent Show, LIVE music, inflatables, free cotton candy, face painting, games and prizes! INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION ATTENDANCE: 12,000+ As the City s largest celebration, the Independence Day Celebration is a full day of fun starting with the parade on Main Street, and hours of entertainment at Valley Park. Activities include live music, the Hot Dog Eating Contest, inflatables, games, prizes, free t-shirts, ice cream, sno-cones, cotton candy, fireworks, and tons more! FOOD TRUCK FRIDAYS ATTENDANCE: 250+ The newest event-series in Hurricane takes place each Friday all Summer from 11a-2p on Main Street. Each Friday two featured trucks are available along with music, and fun! *Attendance numbers based on weekly traffic. HARVEST FESTIVAL ATTENDANCE: 7,000+ Held at Hurricane City Park, this event features vendors, crafts, the Chili Cook Off, a Pie Eating Contest, inflatables and games, food, free cotton candy and apple cider, a petting zoo, hayrides, LIVE music, and fireworks! PUMPKIN CARVING CONTEST ATTENDANCE: 1,000+ The City gives away over 500 pumpkins & carving kits for the best jack-o-lantern in Hurricane! Free cookies & hot cocoa always make this event a great Fall gathering! CHRISTMAS PARADE ATTENDANCE: 3,500+ Main Street is filled with thousands as Santa, Mrs. Claus, their reindeer and hundreds of parade marchers cruise through town. After the parade, join Santa as he gives away thousands of candy-filled stockings and watch the tree lighting! OTHER AREA EVENTS The City also supports many other events in the area. Sponsorships also support these efforts, although the City is not the point contact for each of these events: CIVIL WAR DAYS RUN FOR THE WALL HURRICANE FIRE DEPARTMENT CARNIVAL

Exhibit space opens the door for giveaways, prizes, games, product sampling, special promotions, and more! Exclusive sponsorships like the Inflatable Sponsorship, Chili Cook Off Sponsor, BBQ Cook Off Sponsor, and more create even more name recognition in an exciting way.

6 SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES STAGE ANNOUNCEMENTS Mayor Edwards announces to the crowd special activities, giveaways, prizes, the bands, happenings throughout the day and more. Announcements include mentions of your business as a sponsor and also can include any giveaways or special activities going on at your exhibit space. FLYERS & BROCHURES Over 5,000 flyers are printed for EACH event, for a total of over 25,000 flyers printed per year for events. Other materials are local TV programs, radio stations, and social media posts (over 10,000 followers!) for thousands of viewers and listeners. Also, over 4,000 t-shirts will be given away at two events with sponsors listed. EXCLUSIVE SPONSORSHIPS Many events feature special segments that are available for exclusive sponsorship. Some of these opportunities include sponsoring the inflatables, the Hot Dog Eating Contest, the KidZone or TeenZone featured at different events. These segments give you the ability to own a special piece of each event. BANNER PLACEMENT Dependent on your sponsorship level, banner placement can be utilized on our stage for annual sponsors, or on other special areas for our exclusive sponsorships such as the inflatable sponsor, the Chili Cook Off sponsor, or other various exclusive events. EXHIBIT SPACE Vendor space will be provided dependent on your sponsorship level. We highly suggest using space for giveaways, and other activities to retain addresses, phone numbers, or handing out coupons or vouchers to redeem in person at your location. Vendor space allows face-to -face interaction with festival-goers! CROWD INTERACTION The best feature of sponsorships is the ability to interact with the crowd. These events create a sense of community and your interaction with them is on a personal level. People respond best to environments they feel are safe and fun, and these fairs and festivals are just that!

This sponsorship covers expense towards 500 pins purchased for riders, and provides vendor space at this special event.
