1 Where: Las Brisas Academy Theatre When: March 27th and 28th, :00PM Show Prep: We will hold two full cast rehearsals, March 20th and 22nd. March 20th will be a DRESS Rehearsal with students in costumes and makeup at 5:00pm in the theater. On March 22nd, students will be asked to arrive at school at 7:45am in order to participate in a Technical Rehearsal and Class Pictures! Tickets: In the middle of February, we will be sending out a ticket request form where you can request how many tickets you d like for the show. Tickets are free, but each family is currently only guaranteed two tickets to ONE show. Dancers are required to attend BOTH shows. Once we have ticket requests back, we will hopefully be able to give you more tickets. A ticket is needed for all audience members that will be seating in a seat. Stage Parents: Each class needs one stage parent that would like to volunteer to help at Dress Rehearsal, Technical Rehearsal, and the Spring Recital. Stage Parents will be able to see the performance from backstage only and will help dancers prepare for their dance backstage. Costumes : At the first class, we will be measuring students for their costumes. Costumes arrival is unpredictable, but they will be delivered at the earliest convenience at class. We will then try them on together and go over hair, makeup, and accessories. A costume will only be ordered for you if you have paid your $50 by January 24th! Day of the Show: Dancers should arrive at 5:15pm backstage with their stage parent fully dressed and ready to perform. Doors will open to the theatre at 5:30pm. It is first come, first serve on seat assignments. Dancers must stay backstage during the show. All dancers will participate in the final bow. any questions to agraceffa@liberty.k12.az.us

Students need to make sure that their hair is at least up and out of their face. How do we style their hair for performance? Specifics will be sent home with costumes!

4 Class Dress Code: Shoes Dress Hair Ballet/Tap Ballet Shoes AND Tap Shoes **only using tap shoes for recital Leotard recommended but not required Jazz/Lyrical Jazz Shoes OR Ballet shoes **not using shoes for recital Comfortable, moveable clothing Hair needs to be pulled back and out of their face. Hip Hop/Tap Tap Shoes Comfortable clothing Ballet/Jazz/Tumble Ballet Shoes Our classes are closed classes, which means parents are asked to wait outside during classes. During the last week of class, students will be invited into class to view their performance. Siblings cannot be on campus without adult supervision. How to get to class: At the dismissal bell, students in the first class will need to report to theater and SIT on the benches until they are invited into the theatre by the instructor. If they need to change, they will be asked to use the restroom by the Music Room. If students are in the second class, they will need be accompanied with a parent/guardian if they are on campus after school. Students MUST have a bag with their dance shoes in them that they bring into class. Students will change their shoes from tap to ballet half-way through the class. Please label each shoe with their initials! How to leave class: At the end of class, students will exit the theatre even if they are in the next class. All students will enter the theater together. Doors will remain locked until the instructor lets students into the building. Please be on time in order to get access into the building. Please make sure to keep all your belongings in your bag and take all belongings when you leave.
