The Yearbook photos for Student Council, Yearbook Club, and Yoga Club will be taken today, January 31 st at 3:05pm in the Cafeteria. This sale will be held during lunches this week, ending February 2 nd. Our two items to be sold on these days are Plush Sloth with a Pencil and Wooden Roses for $1.00 each. Each Valentine will come with a gift tag where you will write the first and last name of the person you re sending it to, their homeroom, and a message just for them. 2 As all of you know, the Agent of Change program is taking part in many different causes. Mrs. Barber and Mrs. Sandora s Agent of Change groups are collecting donations for the Brandywine Valley SPCA in the library during the Paws for Books book fair. The dates of the book fair are January 29th to February 2nd. The time for the book fair is 9-3:30 and when you come to visit, you can drop of the donations in the box. The SPCA wish list includes dog beds, cat scratchers, soft dog treats, peanut butter, dry and wet cat food, washable cat/dog toys, Small/medium plastic pet carriers, towels, sheets, blankets, Easy walk harnesses (Medium and Large), collars, Poop bags, Dish soap, paper towels, bleach, cat toys, KMR powder, pet nursing bottles, dry and wet kitten food, heating pads, and kitty litter. They would also like some office supplies. When you get a chance, please help the animals by donating these items to the library. This Friday s spirit wear theme is EAGLES! Go Birds!

The Band lessons for today are 1 st period: Tuba, 2 nd period: Saxophone, 3 rd period: Clarinet, and 6 th period: Flute. A reminder to all future LMS students: Ms. Reimers is completing make-up auditions for 7th grade Vocal Ensemble today (Tuesday) from 10:30-11:00 am. 7 Good morning, Narwhals! Today is Thursday, January 25 th. It is C Day on your schedule. Attention Dance Club: Practice for today (January 25 th ) is for Jackson squad only. Please see Mrs. Seybert if you cannot attend. On Tuesday, Marsh Creek held its annual Science Fair. The projects were amazing and the students did a great job! First place was a tie between Saptak Das and his project on the impact of surface area and volume on an ice cube's melting time and Nivriti Chaudhuri and her project about the impact of different running surfaces on your knees. We also had a tie for second place between Vamsi Nandamuri and Alyssa Sterner. Vamsi examined how people dispose of their e-waste while Alyssa studied the levels of lead in the soil to see if there was a correlation between lead level and property value. Joining the four of them at the Chester County Fair will be Olivia Massucci, Rand Madanat, Naishu Vytla, Darsh Savalia, Abby Ballinger, and Mackenzie Comegys. We re here to introduce the Soup-er Bowl Challenge 2018! We are hopefully going to collect 2,018 cans of healthy soup to send to the Food Bank of Chester County. The challenge begins Monday, January 29 and ends Friday, February 2. You may drop your cans in the bins at the end of your hallway every day next week. If we reach our goal, then our own Philadelphia Eagles are sure to win the Super Bowl! Let s meet the Challenge Narwhals!!!
