28 Career Expo 2016 This one-day event (on Thursday, September 29 th ) is designed in cooperation with local employers and schools to expose high school students to career pathways which are known to be locally plentiful and well-paying. This unique and unprecedented career exploration event will target certain industries: Advanced Manufacturing, Engineering, IT, Skilled Trades, & Supply Chain Management. Designed to be highly interactive and interesting to student attendees, students will network with local businesses, their employees, and post-secondary representatives. Business professionals who work within specific careers will engage with juniors & seniors. If you would like to attend the Career Expo, please see Mrs. Shaw in Counseling ASAP!

Every THURSDAY (that we have block) in ROOM 501 you can receive help from a core content teacher from 7:30-8:25! Use this time for: Homework Projects Taking a Test or Quiz Asking Additional Questions Reviewing for Tests or Quizzes

30 Lunch Policy Reminders! Olathe East has a Closed Lunch Policy; therefore, it is the expectation that students remain on campus for lunch. If your parent is going to excuse you for lunch, he/she will need to come to the Attendance Office and sign you out in person. Students may bring lunches from home, but they may not order take-out food to be delivered to the school for lunch. Any person delivering outside food &/or drink to Olathe East must hand-deliver the items to the students in the main entrance Foyer during a passing period only students will not be excused from class to pick-up food/drink items.
