The Involvement Fair will feature all of our student organizations, clubs, and on-campus leadership opportunities in the department of Student Life. We will head to WinterPlace Ski Resort in West Virginia for a full day of skiing! 6 Tail-or Hall 2nd Lip Sync Battle at 7pm in Turner Auditorium Have you ever seen the Lip Sync Battle on Spike? Well, we are bringing the competition to YOU! Bring your friends and help decide who the best lip sync group is on campus. 7th Escape Room Fayetteville leaving fine arts at 4:30pm (sign ups begin Jan 17th at 9am in Wallace) Test your puzzle skills alongside your friends as you overcome challenges to escape the room you have been locked in. You have an hour to work with the seven other people and solve one challenge after another. Move from one puzzle to the next until you can escape! 8th Stuff-A-Plush at 6pm in Rumley Stuff a camel for you and a heart for a child at WakeMed Children s Hospital. 10th - Highland Games Founders Week: Celebrate our founder James Archibald Campbell s Scottish Heritage at our 2nd annual Highland Games. Make sure to sign up your team of 5 friends on IMLeagues.com for the chance to win the coveted gold medals! 12th Freezin in February on Melvin Basketball Courts from 5-9pm Come warm your heart and self with your friends and loved ones! Ice skate the night away while enjoying some hot chocolate and snacks along with some tee s! 13th International Giveaway at Academic Circle 11am-3pm Come out to the Information tables in Academic Circle to hear from reps from Study Abroad, Hispanic Ministry, and International Students about their experiences and programs! 14th Visit to WakeMed Children s Hospital A follow up event to Stuff-A-Plush, you are welcome to sign up to help distribute the stuffed hearts to pediatric patients at WakeMed Children s Hospital 15th International Festival in Carter Gym, 6-8pm Food and games from all around the world. Students are encouraged to mingle and talk to the different cultural representatives about their cultures and where they are from. Shirts for the first number of students to arrive! 16th Diversity Talent Show in Rumley from 5-6pm Come show how diverse you are by showing off your talents! This celebration is a time to spread joy - and a little color - around! 20th Dan Lornitis, Hypnotist in Turner from 8pm Have you ever wanted to be hypnotized? Comedy Hypnotist Dan Lornitis is bringing his energy, larger-than-life personality, and of course his skill in the art of hypnosis to our campus. He has performed for Oprah Winfrey's company HARPO Prodcutions and has been named Variety Performer of the Year. Come see your peers be hypnotized in Turner Auditorium at 8:00pm! 21st BBQ Cookout in Saylor Park from 4pm Come out to Saylor Park to take part in the Southern tradition of sweet tea drinkin' and barbeque eatin'. There will be corn hole and music. 22nd John Cassidy, Balloon Artist in Turner from 8pm Don't miss this: Professional Comedian, magician, and balloon artist who holds several Guinness World Record for speed in balloon sculpting will be performing at our campus! 23rd Bonfire in Saylor Park from 8pm Don't miss out on getting your Spring Fling t-shirt, music, and s'mores! 24th Movie: The Sandlot and Ice cream in Academic Circle from 8:30pm Enjoy your a favorite movie, The Sandlot, accompanied by Sunni Skies ice-cream in an outdoor movie showing! 27th Mardi Gras Masquerade in Convocation from 8pm Be incognito in the Creek as you join the revelry of our Mardi Gras Masquerade! Don a mask as simple or as exotic as your personality. Enjoy dancing, food, t-shirts, and more as you cast your vote for the formal King and Queen! 31st Relay for Life in Academic Circle at 4:00pm. Come join CAB in supporting the American Cancer Society to Knock Cancer off the Board at our annual Relay for Life Event! Join a team or come walk, play games, eat food, and fight cancer!
