3 CTK TRACK T-Shirt If your child is participating in the All City Track Meet, then they will need a track t-shirt. They may wear the same track t-shirt from last year. Please fill out the order form and turn it into the office by APRIL 20th CTK Track T-Shirt Order Form Cost: $10.00 Name: Grade: YM YL AS AM AL AXL The CGSAA track meet is this Saturday at Bishop McGuinness For an order of events visit The meet starts with the mile run at 8:00 8:30-12:00 are running events for grades 1-4 and field events for grades 5-8 1:00-5:00 are running events from grades 5-8 and field events for grades 1-4 We have one track practice time at McGuinness this Wednesday from 5:00-6:00. 6 It's not too late to register for the 2017 CK on the Links Golf Tournament to be held at Lincoln Park West Golf Course on Friday, May 12 th. Breakfast, snacks, beverages & lunch are included in the registration fees. Each registrant will receive a Calloway Golf Polo, and the prizes this year will be plentiful and SPECTACULAR (have we mentioned that there is a CAR up for grabs?!)! This year's tournament takes place between Grandparents' Day and First Holy Communion please encourage extended family to participate! 8 CK Women Announces Inaugural Women s Luncheon Who is a CK Woman? It is you. It is me. It is all of us, together connecting as a faith community. If you are a woman of Christ the King, you are invited to our inaugural CK Women s Luncheon on Friday, April 21st from 11:30am-1pm (free nursery care available with registration). Mark your calendars, you won t want to miss this wonderful opportunity of enrichment and fellowship! The goal of this semi-annual CK Women s Luncheon is to unite, connect, and nourish the women of our parish. Our speaker will be Dr. Carole Brown, the Director of the Office of New Evangelization in the Archdiocese of Oklahoma City. She will speak on the modern-day role of Catholic women and the gifts we have to offer the church and each other. CK Women encompasses all women s organizations within our church and aims to nourish you in your faith. Bring a friend, or come make new friends on April 21! 11 Celtics Cheerleading Have you been DREAMING of being on a CHEER team while in middle school? YOUR DREAM HAS COME TRUE! Celtic Cheerleading is a program for all 6 th, 7 th and 8 th grade Catholic feeder students! The Celtic Cheer Program will consist of cheering at football games and learning how to stunt, jump and tumble. 12 CK School wants to help the Christ the King Church Jail Ministry and Bishop McGuinness Catholic High School Leadership class by collecting items for inmates in our County Jail. Through kindness and compassion you can help provide items for those that are in jail and trying to turn their lives around. The following items are being requested. Golf pencils (no erasers) Paperback composition books Paperback bibles Paperback inspirational books Cap erasers Notebook paper There are boxes at both offices in the school where you can drop your donation. Thank you for help in providing items to people who need help. The collection will end on April 27 th.
