2 The Kidnapping of Miss Lava Lizard By: Lucas B. Prologue It was a peaceful day in Lava Land, and its inhabitants were having great fun. But it is spoiled when the humans take Miss Lava Lizard. Lava Lizard, who was Miss Lava Lizard s best friend, was devastated. After a long journey to save her, Lava Lizard has finally made it to the human base. Chapter: HEAVY METAL Lava Lizard scouts the heavy metal outer wall of the human military base and tries to find a weakness. He looks at the wall and finds himself staring at a thirty foot tall fortress. Laying atop it were thick curls of Razor wire. All of a sudden a spotlight lands on him. He panics and runs in a zigzag avoiding the spotlight. He dives into the deep Park Lake which is filled with fish. The water glows from Lava Lizard s red and orange spotted body. How could anything eat these gross creatures? He said in disgust as the water starts to steam and make a

3 thick smoke. A few minutes later the fog was so dense he could barely see the dark outline of the wall. He slowly inches out of the lake and looks at the vast shadow of ten guard towers. Lava Lizard slowly and carefully climbs up a guard tower. He sneaks up on a guard, grabs him, and knocks him out. He hangs the guard by his shirt on the spotlight and jumps into the compound. He looks at a metal door and thinks to himself it will take too much energy to melt through this whole door. So he looks down and melts off the door handle. He jumps in and takes the guards by surprise surrounding them with lava. He dashes up the stairs. He sees two guards who open fire at him. He makes a wall of lava which melts the bullets before they can make it through. He then smacks both guards against the wall with a flick of his tail. He looks around the area and accidently finds the cafeteria. Immediately the soldiers grab their weapons and attack him. He makes a sphere of lava to defend himself. He walks to the end of the room and grabs an abandoned soldier s pack. He looks inside and finds a weapon. He grabs the grenade and lobs it at the feet of

4 the soldiers without pulling the pin, and they immediately scatter. He grabs the backpack and corners two soldiers in a corner. He looks at the guy, then the girl. He grabs the guy and asks, Where is the testing room? I ll never tell you! he replies. Lava Lizard drops him and grabs the girl. If you care for her you will. And starts to put on the heat. Ok, ok I ll tell you! he yells. Where? Lava Lizard growls. The east wing second door on the left, from there you re on your own. Lava Lizard runs out and races down the hall. He takes the second left and is confronted by a heavy security door. Dang I can t melt through this! he said to himself. So he ran down the hall until he found a map. He studied it for a moment then took off. The alarm started to blare and there were voices on the intercom. He finally makes it to the door.

5 He shoulder charges it and bursts through the door. He was surrounded by weapons of all kinds of explosives, guns, and knives. In one corner of the room he saw a loading dock with a truck backed up to it. He started loading it up with everything he could grab, weapons and food. He then ran out the door with a pack of C4. He got to the door and blasted it open. He tossed aside scientists and ran into a room. There was Miss Lava Lizard knocked out. Her pink and red body lying limp on the test table. Lava Lizard crushes equipment and destroys test tubes. He picks her up and carries her to the truck. He tossed out the driver and set her next to him up front. He found the keys and starts driving right as the sun started to come up. But there are soon military vehicles behind him. They open fire on him and he makes a hard lava wall surrounding the truck frame. He pushes the gas in as far as he could and is soon zooming towards the Lavafall. He could see it now. If he could get past the Lavafall the soldiers could not follow him.

6 Then he heard the Whoosh and he was safe. He got out and turned the whole car Lava, Lavacar he called it. He took out the weapons and laid them on the table and set Miss Lava Lizard on the couch. He then set to the task of making all the weapons Lava so when he runs out of energy he can still fight. But it s not over, his door is busted down by soldiers who grab Miss Lava Lizard. But Lava Lizard is too fast and burns the soldiers arms and they immediately back off. Then the General steps forward and shoots a dart that hits Miss Lava Lizard. All the soldiers run away as Lava Lizard rushes to her side. He then sees that she was poisoned. He runs outside with great speed and agility and sees the iron trucks driving off. He runs and latches his claws into the back of one. He bashes in the roof and rips open a door. He throws out the general and grabs his briefcase and jumps off. He walks over to the general and growls, What is your name? Aiden, he says.

7 Lava lizard grabs the general s arm and lava slowly oozes out of his hand onto the general. What s the password for the briefcase? 9232, he yells in pain as his arm burns. Lava Lizard drops the general and runs to his house. He opens the briefcase and finds a vile of yellow liquid. He pours it into her mouth and the fever doesn t get any better. She is getting worse by the hour. Lava Lizard tries every remedy known to Lava Lizards, but none work. So he walks to lava cliff where he attempts to cross Lava Canyon on the rickety bridge. He steps onto Lava Ridge and enters the dim cave. He looks around in the dim cave looking at the lava gushing out of cracks and fissures. He spots the Lava Council napping so he bangs his tail on the floor The three old dark red Lava Lizards wake quickly from their nap.

8 Aww why you gotta wake us? croaked one of them. JUST GO AWAY! shouted one of them who appeared to still be asleep. AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHaaaaaaaaaccccccc cccccceeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeblulbbblblblbl blb! One of them screamed like a Banshee. What in the name of Lava is going on here you old geezers? We were just trying to take a nap and some jerk woke us up! they shouted. That would be me. Lava Lizard said coolly Well what do you want? they asked. Miss Lava Lizard is dying I don t know what to do. the cure is probably back at the human base. GO and get the cure! they said in in unison. But he started GO and let us sleep or I ll personally TAN YOUR HIDE WITH A PLANK! one of them shouted. You could try, Lava Lizard answered.

9 He was silenced when one of the old Lava Lizards walked over to him and gave him a beating to remember. He doesn t know what to do. At the rate this fever is going Miss Lava Lizard has a week tops. What will Lava Lizard decide? Will he go back and risk being caught, or wait around and try to save her some other way? To Be Continued.
