1 Backpacks of Love! If you re a Junior Giants coach or team leader, how do you support children devastated by wildfire? With backpacks full of school supplies! Over 500 in fact. Former Giants player Noah Lowry and others from Junior Giants leagues that work with Neighborhood Services, donated the backpacks to kids burned from their homes and displaced from their schools. That was last fall serving as a simple gift to encourage young minds into growth this spring! It occurs to us that amidst great destruction there is a bright spot of unyielding good will and community, which after-all is what Junior Giants is all about! THANK YOU! Open registration begins (subject to program space availability) following the listed dates at Finley and Steele Lane Community Centers Monday-Friday, 10am-5pm *Program locations subject to change* Finley Community Center located at 2060 West College Avenue Steele Lane Community Center located at 415 Steele Lane FCC = Finley Community Center SLCC = Steele Lane Community Center Reg = Registration Mark Your Calendar Events and Registration Dates APRIL 1 Junior Giants In-Person Reg FCC & SLCC Junior Giants On-Line Reg Continues MAY 7 Teen Basketball Camp Reg 8 RecSen Lincoln FCC 10 RecSen Sheppard FCC Addtl sites to be added 31 Junior Giants Volunteer Training Southwest Community Park JUNE 6 Junior Giants Volunteer Training Southwest Community Park 11 Teen Basketball Camp Session 1 Begins Santa Rosa Middle School RecSen Session 1 Begins various locations JULY 1 After School Program Info Avail by 9 Teen Basketball Camp Session 2 Begins Santa Rosa Middle School 9 RecSen Session 2 Begins various locations 27 Parks Make Life Better!
