Help us with Your heavenly grace, that we may be able to fulfil this most sacred duty and stewardship. This past week you received a parent survey. Your students will also be taking electronic surveys. I appreciate your feedback. If you complete the survey by October 19, your child may have free dress on one day that is not a Mass day. The survey will not be live after October 19. It is very important to have 100% participation. I am receiving TONS of great suggestions thank you! Our Catholic Identity factors, which replaced the religion in depth, have been completed. As a school we are guided by ten Catholic Identity Factors from the Diocese of Santa Rosa. Attached is our completed document. We look forward to your feedback. Thank you for all of your participation in the Walk-a-thon. If you have not completed a survey, please thoughtfully do so. We'd appreciate both parent responses if possible. Live Survey Link: Applications for the school year for TK-K are NOW being accepted. Please download the application from the school website or come into the school office to pick one up. Also, when you turn it in bring a copy of the birth certificate and baptismal certificate if he/she is baptized. If you currently have a TK, there is no need to do anything only for new TK & K students coming in next year. 7 7 Shamrock Newsletter Athletic News Athletic News The 5th grade girl s volleyball team had mixed results this past Saturday. The team played an incredible nail biter against St. Helena Montessori that went down to the last play of the third set. We won the first set then lost the second with the lead see sawing back and forth until the last three serves. The third set went to the very end neck and neck, but our final serve came up just short of a comeback and we lost the set Our next game was against St. John's of Napa and went very well. We won the match in two sets, 25-6 and The team has been building upon each game with leaps and bounds and we look forward to our final game this Saturday and the playoffs next week. The 6 th grade girls continued their winning streak racking up one more win on Saturday! Captains Erin Meader and Bella Wright led the way with strong team support and great serves. Team defense remained solid, with Sarah and Kate setting up plays and bringing home the win. The 7 th grade girls played two challenging teams on Saturday. The first match against St. Mary's we started out strong and secured the first game, coming so close in the second only to lose in the third set tiebreaker. Moving along and learning from our mistakes, the team picked up speed and banded together to beat St. Johns Napa in three sets avenging our loss on Monday. Highlights included notable aggressive spikes by Gianna Holstein and formidable passing by Alex Ibrahim, Jordyn Villegas, Isabella H. and Emily Herriot. Solid serving by Rose Mooney and Ceci Nuss helped put a few needed points on the scoreboard as well." The 8 th grade girls are continuing their winning streak, easily beating St. John s Catholic 25 to 19 and They also made short work of St. John s Healdsburg, with a win of and Stand out serving came from Breck Hearn, Maddie Klungel and Natalia Balbuena. Mary Foust helped the team with great play in game 2 against St. John s Healdsburg, and there was excellent passing from Karlie Wells and Eliza Mason. Libby Birkbeck also had an amazing day. The 8 th grade girl s team is currently tied for 1 st place with St. Francis. We play St. Francis this Saturday, the 10 th, at 9:00am, here at St. A s. We would love to have the stands filled with Shamrock fans! Please come out and support our girls! Athletic Ambassador Service Success Thank you to all the families that attended the Volleyball Game Night last Friday at Justin Siena. The Athletic Ambassador snack bar raised over $2, for the Middletown Volleyball team members who lost their homes. A big thank you to the Reynolds family for their jump start donation, and Justin s varsity volleyball team sends their appreciation to the 8 th grade ambassadors that helped with the snack bar that evening!
