We are inviting the participants to take part in the Homecoming Community Pep Rally (more details to follow). Additionally, we would like the participants to perform the school song and school cheer with the Varsity Cheerleaders at the beginning of the DPHS Varsity Homecoming Football game at Abshier Stadium on Friday, 10/13. You will receive more information about these events when you pick up your child. Shorts and bows will be sold on the day of the clinic if you would like to purchase them for your child to wear with the clinic shirt for the football performance. Items can be purchased by the set for a discounted price or items can be bought individually. Please cut here and return the completed bottom portion with your payment. 10 DEER PARK HIGH SCHOOL GRADE POLICY BY NINE WEEKS REGULAR Major Grades 60% No more than 60% of the nine weeks average. Includes tests, projects, research, etc. Minimum of 3 major grades. No doubling of major grades. Minor Grades 40% At least 40% of the nine weeks average. Includes homework (20% maximum), daily work, quizzes, etc. PAP/AP 70% No more than 70% of the nine weeks average. Includes tests, projects, research, etc. Minimum of 3 major grades. No doubling of major grades. 30% At least 30% of the nine weeks average. Includes homework (20% maximum), daily work, quizzes, etc. A progress report will be issued every three weeks. A teacher will record at least five grades per three weeks, with a minimum total of fifteen grades per nine weeks. Two major grades must be recorded in the first six weeks of each grading period. 1 st /3 rd Nine Weeks 40% 2 nd /4 th Nine Weeks 40% Semester Exam 20%
