Goodnight StoryTime June 2,2016 6:30 p.m. Jump into your pajamas, bring your stuffed animals and join us for a special, evening StoryTime. Whole family is welcome! Donut Decorations June 3, 2016 It s National Donut Day! Help us celebrate by creating your own donut and, dare I say it, enjoy eating it afterward! Museum of the Grand Prairie June 8, :30 p.m. Experience some fun and learning with the Museum of the Grand Prairie! Learn about the different games and activities of Illinois past. Registration Required for this Event June 9, :00 a.m. Join us on the dance floor as we boogie to some fun songs! Festival Corner! The gazebo across from Candy Kitchen June, 10, 2016 Dusk Zootopia Join us outside at Festival Corner as we show Zootopia: In a city of anthropomorphic animals, a rookie bunny cop and a cynical con artist fox must work together to uncover a conspiracy. Douglas Hart Nature Center The Tortoise and the Hare June 13, :30 a.m. The Douglas Hart Nature Center will present on this classic children s story. I bet they ll even bring a real turtle and bunny! Registration Required for this Event Youth Bingo! June 15, 2016 Come have fun and play Bingo at the library, where you can win all kinds of prizes! Youth Crafts & Activities June 16, 2016 Come create some winning crafts and and play some games at the library! Paper Airplanes June 21, :00 p.m. Join us as we learn some different paper airplane designs and see what designs fly the farthest! Teddy Bear Sleepover June 22, 3:00 p.m. 7:00 p.m. Return: June 23, 2:00 p.m. Drop off your stuffed animals on Wednesday night and return Thursday 2 for snacks and a craft to see all the fun your stuffed friends had in the library! You may pick up stuffed animals later if needed, a link will be provided to view pictures of their escapades!

Family Movie Night June 24, 2016 The Sandlot A new kid in town is taken under the wing of a young baseball prodigy and his team in this coming of age movie set in the summer of Together, they get themselves into many adventures involving rival teams, lifeguards, and a vicious dog. Scovill Zoo June 27, :30 a.m. 11:30 a.m. Scovill Zoo from Decatur will be visiting us with some of their friends! Last year, we saw lizards, bunnies, and bugs! What will you see this year? We will have two presentations, please sign up for only one per person. Book Discussion June 29, 2016 The Sound and the Fury Depicting the gradual disintegration of the Compson family through four fractured narratives, The Sound and the Fury explores intense, passionate family relationships where there is no love. Music Discussion July 27, 2016 In lieu of a book discussion, we ll be bringing some of our favorite song lyrics, reading them as we do poetry, and then sampling some of the song.
