Formed by a sit harness (), a chest harness () joined together by a new fast adjustment connection system (). The structure of the harness combines the strength required by the fall-arrest standard with the comfort and the lightweight of a mountaineering harness. The chest harness has a double-loop attachment point which allows to connect the connector of a fall-arrest lanyard and the easy and fast attachment to the hook of the helicopter hoist. The chest harness can be comfortably worn when not in suspension, then the rescuer can reduce the length of the connection with the sit harness just before hanging on the hook, improving the suspension comfort. The suspension position of the human body is perfectly vertical, avoiding any rotation effect caused by the helicopter air flow.
