These rules are red in cnjunctin with thse set dwn by Australia Cricket and replace r verlay the set rules in adpted frmats Stage 1, Stage 2 and Stage 3.. CHCI Cnduct fr junir s matches N Balls/Dangerus and unfair nn pitching deliveries: 1. A n ball shall be called if the ball bunces mre than nce befre the batsman s crease. 2. A n Ball shall be called if the ball pitches ff the designated pitch n the first bunce. 3. A n ball shall be called if a nn pitching delivery is abve the waist f the Batsman in the upright psitin at the crease. 4. A n ball shall be called if the ball pitches and bunces abve the head f the batsmen in the upright psitin at the crease. Drinks Breaks: Managed as apprpriate t the envirnmental cnditins in cnsultatin between umpires/caches. Match pints: 5 Pints Win n 1 st innings r Frfeit, 3 Pints Draw, N Result r Unplayable, 1 Pint Lss, 0 Pints Frfeit Age grups- General Rule: A players age grups is set by their age at 1 September f the playing seasn. CHCI has U11, U13 and U16 cmpetitin. Playing up and age grup is at the discretin f ccaches/managers and Parents f invlved player and is encurage fr children f apprpriate skil level in line with QLD cricket plicy. Optin available t clubs: U17 s may play dwn in U16 s if they are nt playing senir s cricket. In CHCI junirs, girls may play up t 2 years dwn (age -2), n agreement f bth caches (crrect age grup and the receiving age grup) and at the request f the parents. Players may play up age grups and may als play in their crrect age grups during the seasn s lng as rule 2 is adhered t and they dn t cause a player t be sat ut. Finals eligibility fr all grades f junir cricket: T be eligible t play in the finals a player must have played 3 games in the seasn r if the player jins the club after December 31 they must have played at least 1 game t be allwed t play in the finals. Match Timings: U15/16 and U13 matches start at 07:30am at the allcated venue,

Caches may then allw the remaining vers t be bwled t enable children t play if bth teams caches are in agreement, but n scring will be recrded. U11 teams must cmplete all 20 vers fr bth teams. Junir Representative: Safety: T be eligible fr nminatin by CHCI t CQ representative sides the player must have been selected fr a CHCI side and been nminated r played at least ne game fr CHCI. CHCI age grups fr representative cricket are U11, U12, U14, U16 these matches are played by QJC r QLD cricket frmat stages 1/2/3 representative. Cmpulsry fr all batsmen and keepers standing at the stumps t wear helmets. Cmpulsry fr all fielders t wear hats. Administratin: All teams t be selected n mycricket by 8:00pm Friday Night prir t the matches (Team managers Respnsibility) All junir cricket scres t be entered in my cricket by Mnday after the Match (Team Managers respnsibility) Match results are t be scred n My cricket app where pssible and synced at the end f the match. Bwling 6 balls per ver max(n re-bwling f wide/n balls). All players t bwl, Keepers x 1 ver minimum. Bwl frm ne end entire game. N fielders within 15m f batter. Helmets inc keepers, prtectrs male/female 2 wicket must be wrn when batting/keeping up t stumps. Keepers 2 per team 10 vers each. Manage yur extra players t rtate nt field t ensure equal game time. 4 runs penalty per wicket lst (added t bwling teams scre) Out batsmen swap ends(unless runut at nn-strikers end, and cntinue t bat until they have reached 17 balls). Min/Max Players(5 min, 9 max) All kids bat and bwl- mdified tables as required(see belw). Mark side f pitch, use tape t mark ff pitch d nt use a permanent mark acrss the pitch. Bundary 45m (measured frm batters end stumps), pitch 18m in length (stump t stump), Bwl ne end nly, Batters must retire at 35 balls, (all balls cunt inc Wide/NB)., can be dismissed, may be retired earlier. retired batter returns after all thers have been dismissed/retired and in the rder they are retired. Innings cmplete after all wickets have fallen r 30 vers reached. 6 balls per ver max 8balls in any ver. All players t bwl, each keeper must bwl a minimum 1 ver each, Max 5 vers fr any 1 bwler. Rtatin f fielders recmmended, n fielders within 10m f batsmen except slips/gully, required t use 2 keepers. 9 players n field at any time rtatin t ccur if extra players are in team. Mark side f pitch, use tape t mark ff pitch d nt use a permanent mark acrss the pitch. All kids bat/bwl if pssible by the end f the match unless it finished befre they had an pprtunity due t scre being achieved by the ppsitin. Batters must retirement at 40 balls (legal), can be dismissed, may be retired earlier. retired batter returns after all thers have been dismissed/retired and in the rder they are retired. 6 legal balls per ver (8 balls max) Every player bwls 2 vers except keeper (dedicated keeper can be used). Max 8 vers per any 1 bwler. All mdes dismissal. (Minimum 7 players).
