This competition will be conducted according to the rules in the rulebook except as stated herein. The competition committee reserves the right to make changes marked as urgent by the May 2008 Governing Council meeting. The 6.0 judging system will be used for all events. This is a non-qualifying competition. Skaters may skate up one level from his/her highest FS level passed (does not include Basic Skills skaters/events). Test levels attained by April 14, 2008 will be the determining factor for the competition category. The Local Organizing Committee (LOC) reserves the right to cancel any event due to lack of entries. Skaters who choose to skate an exhibition will not receive a refund for that event. The LOC reserves the right to combine, divide or cancel groups. Any skater who was a first place winner of a U.S. Figure Skating qualifying competition or any prior NJCFSC Championships is not eligible to skate in an equivalent or lower category, but may enter the next higher category even though the required test level has not been attained.
