1 FÉDÉRATION INTERNATIONALE DE GYMNASTIQUE 2013 FIG JUDGES RULES SPECIFIC RULES FOR TRAMPOLINE GYMNASTICS Revised The FIG has approved 2013 FIG General Judges Rules which are applicable to all competitive disciplines. The specific rules and clarifications listed below apply only to this discipline and are in compliance with the General Judges Rules. ARTICLE 1: JUDGES COURSES 1.1 Intercontinental Judges Courses The intercontinental judges course in TRA, TUM and DMT will last 4 days, including the examination day(s) Each NF is entitled to register a maximum 5 (five) Judges All participating judges can take examination in all 3 disciplines (TRA, TUM and DMT) Category III minimum is required to participate on the intercontinental judges course. (no more than 2 judges cat.iii) All category I judges can participate to the course, regardless of the maximum number of judges per country specified in 1.1.2, if they are registered by their national federations See also articles 1.4 and 4.1 of the 2013 FIG General Judges Rules for additional participation criteria Evaluation of the examination is described on article 2 of this document. 1.2 International Judges Courses International judges courses are organized by national federations, upon request and approval of FIG A course with one discipline (e.g. TRA) will last 2 days, with 2 disciplines (TRA, DMT) 2 ½ days and with all 3 disciplines (TUM, TRA, DMT) 3 days. This can be extended by ½ day if translations are necessary The conditions of participation will be described on the specific invitation for each international judges course Evaluation of the examination is described on article 2 of this document. ARTICLE 2: EVALUATION OF THE EXAMINATION Contents and evaluation of the examination 2.1 TRAMPOLINE Execution There will be 10 routines in the Examination, each routine is worth 10 points (Approx. 5 first routines and 5 second or final routines.) For each 1/10 th difference from the TRA TC evaluation for a single element: 1.0 pt. deduction will be made.

2 Maximum score: 100 points 50 points Difficulty There will be 10 routines in the examination, each routine is worth 5 points The difficulty of the routines will be adequate to International and World Class level The routine has to be documented with the FIG Numeric System and Difficulty For each error, deduct 1.0 point, up to a maximum of 3.0 points for any one routine Maximum score: 50 points 43 points Examination questions, based on the Code of Points, the Judges Guide and Technical Maximum score: 25 points Total Maximum score: 175 points 2.2 TUMBLING Execution There will be 10 passes in the examination, each pass is worth 5 points A deduction of 1.0 point will be made for each 1/10th more than the allowed tolerance from the TRA TC score Allowed tolerances: 9.0 and over 0,1 pts. 8.5 to 8.9 0,2 pts. 8.4 and under 0,3 pts For 2/10th difference from the TRA TC score for a single element: 1.0 pt. deduction, for 3/10th difference from the TRA TC score for a single element: 2.0 pts. deduction, etc Maximum score: 50 points 33 points Difficulty There will be 10 passes in the Examination, each pass is worth 5 points The passes have to be documented with the FIG Tumbling Symbols and difficulty For each error, deduct 1.0 point, up to a maximum of 3.0 points for any one pass. Maximum score: 50 points 44 points Examination questions, based on the Code of Points, the Judges Guide and Technical Maximum score: 25 points Total Maximum score: 125 points

3 2.3 DOUBLE MINI TRAMPOLINE Execution There will be 10 passes in the examination, each pass is worth 3 points For deviation from the TRA TC score, more than the allowed tolerance: deduct 1.0 point Allowed tolerances: 9.7 and over 0,0 pts. 8.4 to 9.6 0,1 pts. 8.3 and under 0,2 pts For 2/10th difference from the TRA TC score for a single element: 1.0 pt. deduction, for 3/10th difference from the TRA TC score for a single element: 2.0 pts. deduction, etc Maximum score: 30 points Difficulty There will be 10 passes in the Examination, each pass is worth 2 points The passes have to be documented with the FIG numeric system and difficulty For each error, deduct 1.0 point Maximum score: 20 points Examination questions, based on the Code of Points, the Judges Guide and Technical Maximum score: 25 points Total Maximum score: 75 points 2.4 Passmarks / grades at International Courses I. DOUBLE MINI-TRAMPOLINE exam TOT CAT Maximum Excellent E I Very Good VG II Good G III Pass P IV 2.5 Evaluation of the Judges work during FIG events A continues evaluation will be carried out by the Superior Jury (Technical Committee) at FIG events. This will be done by observation and scoring by the responsible members of the SJ for each discipline during the competitions and by analysis from videos (IRCOS) after the competitions by the Technical Committee In principle the routines of the best 20 athletes will be analysed, plus the cases which were under question and recorded by the Superior Jury. All execution scores which are outside of the allowed tolerance from the expert scores (TC) will be counted as errors. Allowed tolerances: 9.7 and over 0.0 pts 9.1 to pts 8.4 to pts 7.4 to pts 7.3 and below 0.4 pts As soon as available, the official FIG Judges Evaluation Programme (Swiss Timing / JEP) will have to be used for the evaluation of the judges work during and after the competition. (as per of the General Judges Rules) As per the General Judges Rules the work of the execution judges is evaluated according to the following 5 criteria: Excellent Very Good Good Weak Unsatisfactory Errors less than 5% of analysed routines Errors less than 10% of analysed routines Errors in less than 15%of the anylysed routines Errors in less than 20% of the anylysed routines Errors 20% or more of the analysed routines

5 As per the General Judges Rules the work of the Difficulty judges is evaluated according to the following 5 criteria: Excellent No errors Very Good 1 error Good 2 errors Weak 3 errors or 1 error in finals Unsatisfactory more than 3 errors or 2 errors in finals ARTICLE 3: MISCELLANEOUS 3.1 DRAW PROCEDURES For the International events, the draw will be conducted under the following procedure (please refer also to article 5 of General Judges Rules): Chairs of Judges Pannels CJP will be appointed by the TC from Judges Category I (except for competitions Group 4) Difficulty Judges Difficulty 1 Judge will be appointed by the TC from Category I and II Difficulty 2 Judge will be decided by a draw Execution Judges Execution Judges will be decided by a draw, with no more than one judge per NF at same panel, including the Reference Judges. (see also ) Reference Judges Reference Judges will be appointed by the TC from Category I and II Judges Time of Flight Judges Time of Flight Judges will be decided by a draw General In all positions described in to 3.1.5, the draw starts from the highest category judges, i.e: start the draw with Cat I, than from Cat II, than Cat III and finaly Cat IV. The TC will assure that all judges have the chance to judge at least one session during the whole event. FINAL PROVISIONS They enter into effect on November 1 st, 2012 and replace all previous rules..
