The Borough of Shippensburg and Southampton Township, Franklin County, will file the Articles of Incorporation (the Articles ) for the Shippensburg Community Parks and Recreation Authority with the Secretary of the Commonwealth on June 1, The Articles contain the name of the Authority, a statement that the Authority is formed under the Act, a statement that the Borough and Township have not previously jointly organized an Authority under the Act, the name and address of the Borough and the Township, the names, addresses, and terms of office of the first members of the Board of the Authority, and the aforementioned purpose of the Authority. A copy of the Articles is available for inspection at the office of the Borough at 111 North Fayette Street and at the office of the Township, 705 Municipal Drive during normal business hours.
