Debrief! i. Cons 1. Not a lot of people that there could have been 2. Could have had chairs to sit in 3. Felt rushed to get things done 4. Prepared more with decorations 5. Have signs as to what activities are where 6. Firemen showed up and their glow sticks were a lot better than ours ii. Pros 1. Decorations 2. Had enough candy 3. Kids were getting back in line to do activities again 4. Event went really well, activities went great, did an amazing job 5. Stayed positive the entire event 6. Was a lot of fun to see kids in their costumes 7. Great job cleaning up after event 10. Turkey Baskets a. Fundraising i. Thanksgiving is coming up ii. Raise money to give back to our community iii. Turkey Baskets 1. Fundraise, competition between other halls, put together baskets of items the food bank wants and they give them to families

4 iv. We can collect food and money but anything on the list has to go into the turkey baskets, any other food item must go to the food bank on campus v. Food bank is giving out a turkey for every basket we put together vi. Ideas for Fundraising 1. The money we get from fundraising can go anywhere 2. Bake Sale 3. BurgerVille Night 4. Trash Nights 5. 50/50 Raffle, difficult to work with 6. Door to Door donations a. Going to local organizations and ask for donations b. Maybe use competition between buildings vii. Next Tuesday after meeting, split into groups to go door to door for trash and donations 11. Other Programming Ideas a. Selling Arbor Park T-shirts b. Bunco Night c. Game Night i. Can wait until next week but everything needs to be figured out by next meeting d. Dead Week event e. Think about some more events to have before the end of the term 12. Advisors Time a. Kristi: Good job with Safe Halls. One program behind us and we have an understanding of how to program. Keep in mind Preston is an RA and I am an RD so feel free to ask questions about programming. Everyone is doing a great job. b. Preston: Programs are hard and they take work. Some events work well sometimes they don't. Safe Halls went very well. NRHH gave us an envelope for the Diamond Dinner Club Thursday Nov. 17 5:30-6:30 PM. We are invited as a hall government to a dinner before GA starts. In Ackerman 141,

5 BYOS(Bring Your Own Sauce). I have my own crock pot and I like to slow cook things. 13. QCCs a. Shirley: What s the Torch? i. Colette: Hall governments pass around to other hall govs each week at GA because they did a good event b. Sydney: On our Arbor Park facebook page Tristan s name isn t on there and Vanessa s name is spelled wrong. i. Kristi: I can help fix those mistakes. c. Emily: OTMs are due the 5th. i.
