My wife and I picked this up in a second-hand shop on our three week exploration of Wales and England. In England it became our primary guide book for all things unusual and preternatural. I just ordered The Lore of Scotland and eagerly anticipate reading it. These women (Jennifer Westwood and

It tells you of all the interesting spots in Great Britain, related to haunted houses, legends, myths, ghosts, hidden treasure etc., with photos and detailed descriptions. And, what I found even cooler, it also gives you maps with all these sport on them. The information is very well organized and easy to find, the paper is nice, and the cover is pleasantly inspiring ;-) Since I've bought it, this book has become my favorite present idea to the very best and dear people.
