The touch, feel, colours of these props encourage children to be creative and innovative about their usage. K1.3 My Space We start with helping children understand the concept of self-space and general space and how they should move around being safe.

6 Name S1 S1. 5 S1.1 Know the Props The purpose of this activity is to help children get a feel for all the age-appropriate props; allow children to be creative and innovative; develop a sense of sharing. S1.4 Rules are our Friends The purpose of this activity is to make children realize the importance of rules in our daily lives. In the school context we focus on rules on the playground which help everyone play in a friendly Formations S1.8 Formations and Boundaries To teach the meaning of formations and also to memorize some formations; to teach the concept of boundaries, shapes, within and outside and concepts of space awareness. Locomotor S1.10 Micro events - 1 To showcase foundamental movement skills along with right action, balance and coordination S1.2 Ball control Children love football. S1.9 Throwing for a Distance - 1 To teach children the fundamentals of an overhand throw. Throwing is a fundamental skill required in several sports like cricket, touch rugby, basketball. To learn the correct skill of S1.3 Fun with Parachute - 1 Parachute is a fun prop used to develop team play and cooperation. We introduce more complex formations with the Parachute which require a lot more cooperative action between the

Non_ S1.7 Body Management Circuit - 1 Knowing your body and being able to move it in a variety of ways is the basis of all physical activity be it sports, dance or even the daily chores. We teach children different body Non_ S1.11 Jumping Monkeys To make children practice jumping skills. Jumping and landing is a skill which not just increases the strength of the leg muscles but also helps learn balance and coordination.

Locomotor S2.2 Chase, Dodge and Flee Chasing, fleeing and dodging are complex skills, where in you need to combine the basic skill of running, with speed, space awareness, levels, relationship with other people and objects. As S2.4 Football Stopping the ball To teach children to move and stop a ball with their feet. A great way to learn foot eye coordination and also ball control. S2.11 Toss and Catch To practice the skills of tossing and catching. S2.5 Introduction to Physical Fitness Strength and Flexibility Physical fitness is a term used for overall fitness of the body. Children need to understand early on the meaning of physical fitness, its significance and how to maintain it for life. We start with S2.13 Hoop-a-loop Children learn the correct techniques of dribbling skills by focusing on the cue of finger-pads. Non_ S2.12 Hungry Crabs To help improve upper body strength and endurance. Non_ S2.14 Dance to the Rhythm To develop coordinated body movements.

March past teaches coordination, teamwork and discipline. Besides Kho_Kho S3.2 Kho-Kho - Take off in Standing Kho-Kho To introduce students to the basics of take-off in Standing Kho-Kho.

Here we use the concept of cooperative games to help children prepare for Fitness WS4.4 Physical Fitness Test - Practice To learn and practice the various components of physical fitness tests. Children learn and practice the correct techniques to perform specific components of fitness test. E.g. correct Football S4.10 Football:Passing and Receiving Children play a modified game of football wherein they dribble, pass and work as a team to achieve the objective of the game. At this age, modified games are more effective as children

Kho_Kho S5.14 Kho-Kho: The Match Day (Micro event) To showcase skill, team work and sports etiquette Touch_Rugby S5.1 Touch Rugby: Passing Touch rugby is the non-contact version of rugby. In this game the teams move forward either by carrying the ball or passing backwards. Opponent can only touch the player and so the game is Touch_Rugby S5.2 Touch Rugby: Running passes It is a simple but elegant game which requires minimal equipment. A Rugby and a ground is all you need to start the game. The touch variation of the original rugby makes it a very safe game Ultimate_Frisbee S5.4 Ultimate Frisbee Game Ultimate frisbee is an upcoming game and gaining popularity very fast. Boys and girls play together in a team. One has to get the frisbee to the opponent's end zone by advancing as a
