The cleaner and brighter they are, the better. make sure you ask your mum and dad before picking any of their flowers thursday 7 th top tip - try collecting them on a sunny day. It works better if they re nice and dry. 2 Line the back pages of a big, heavy book with parchment paper (a phone book works really well). A good one. Get to know your stick. Give it a name. Look at it. You'll need to be able to recognise it later. Run to the other side of the bridge and wait for your sticks to appear. The winner is the person who's stick comes out first.
