1 5-8 Grade Girls Friday / Saturday April REVISED From Office of the Athletic Director April 16, 2018 Dear Parents and Athletes, The Girls 5-8 th grade Girl s Lacrosse teams will travel to Cleveland on Friday and Saturday, April The games at McDowell School in Erie, PA on Friday afternoon have been postponed se we will leave after school on Friday, eat dinner in Erie and then proceed to Cleveland and play in the Hawken School Playday on Saturday April 21. The team will return home after the final game on Saturday, April 21st. See travel information below. Bus Departs from Nichols School on Friday, April 20, 2018 at 3:45 pm to Erie PA for dinner at the Millcreek Mall 5800 Peach St, Erie, PA The team will be staying at the: Hampton Inn Beachwood OH 3840 Orange Pl Beachwood OH Saturday games at Hawken School County Line Rd Gates Mills, OH (440) &8 Game schedule: 10 am 11:30 am 1 pm : Saturday Games at Hawken School Playday following last game will go to lunch at Great Lakes Mall 5 th and 6 th grade: sleep in, have breakfast and swim at hotel until 10:30 am, go to lunch at Great Lakes Mall then to games Games: 1:30 pm, 2:30 pm and 3:30 pm Lv for Buffalo about 4:15 pm and stop at the Millcreek Mall for dinner on the way home. Return approximately 8:45 pm. Players will travel in school clothes to Erie, PA and go to dinner. It is a dress down day tomorrow so please see Stone dress code listed below. NO JEANS OR PANTS THAT ARE RIPPED. NICE SHIRTS _ NO T SHIRTS Bring a towel to wipe off after the games. Bring extra shoes to wear into the mall no cleats or wet sneakers in the mall. If it looks like rainy weather, bring extra clothes and a plastic garbage bag to put gear in on the field. I would like to remind athletes to dress well on game days and especially when traveling to another school. Friday April 20 1:20 pm Return Saturday April 21 approximately 8:45 pm Hotel: Hampton Inn Beachwood OH 3840 Orange Pl Beachwood OH Dinner: Friday Night: games postponed Millcreek Mall for dinner then to the hotel in Cleveland Saturday: Games at Hawken School Playday 7&8th grade games: 10 am 11: 30 am 1 pm following last game will go to lunch at Great Lakes Mall Depart hotel 8:00 am Saturday am. 5 th and 6 th grade: sleep in, have breakfast and swim at hotel until 10:30 am, go to lunch at Great Lakes Mall then to games Games: 1:30 2:30 3:30 Following games we will travel by bus to the Millcreek Mall for a quick dinner and return to Nichols approximately 8:45 pm Please Bring: Full Uniform including kilt/shorts and white and green jerseys (if they have them) white turtleneck or long sleeve for under white jersey and black turtleneck for under green jersey Black Shorts or black spandex or black tights...must be black to wear under kilt Green and white reversible pinnie (get from Mrs. Matthewson in equipment room) water bottle w/name on it & 4 gatorade or 4 water Sweatshirt and sweatpants, gloves, hat bathing suit and towel Rain Coat and Warm Coat Goggles 2 pairs of white socks (extra pairs for rain) Warm gloves Cleats and Sneakers Stick 2 Mouthguards molded to teeth SNACK & Drink for ride down (No Soda) Plastic garbage bag to put gear in in case of rain Money for 2 dinners: Friday and Saturday nights and 1 lunch (Saturday). ** Bring a nutritious snack to eat on the way down (granola bar, fruit, fruit rollups, pretzels, soda is permissible on the way home but not on the way down or during playing time - no popcorn or other messy foods) Players will travel to Erie, PA in school clothes. Following the game, they should have another set of clothes as per below, in case they are wet. If it is not raining, we will proceed on to Cleveland in uniform.
