CONT. Children may be picked up anytime between 12:30-6:00 pm. FEE SCHEDULE Fee: $ 6.00 per day *Any child picked up after 6:00 pm will be subject to the late fees outlined in parent handbook. No attendance minimum monthly fee All sites are licensed through the Arizona Department of Health Services Office of Child Care Licensing **Subsidies for child care are available through the Department of Economic Security to eligible families. Qualifications are based on gross income, family size, and employment situation. To determine if you are eligible to receive a child care subsidy please contact: Department of Economic Security 1155 N. 5 C.A.S.P.E.R. Coolidge Parks and Recreation Department offers a planned and well supervised After School Program. C.A.S.P.E.R. (Coolidge After School Program for Education and Recreation) is for all children Kindergarten through 6th grade. This program offers school-aged children a variety of planned activities through which developmental goals are achieved. A well-trained and professional staff plan and organize fun and unique activities which meet the special interests of your child. A TYPICAL DAY AT C.A.S.P.E.R. Monday-Friday 3:30-3:45 Children arrive and are signed in Homework Table Those who do not have homework shall be engaged in quiet free time 3:45-4:15 pm Wash hands/snack time 4:15-5:30 pm Arts & Crafts 5:30-6:00 pm Organized interactive activity supervised free time inside/outside Children may be picked up anytime between 3:00-6:00 pm. Children whom regularly attend the program for one hour or less, will be charged $1 for that day. (This must be pre-arranged with the C.A.S.P.E.R. Coordinator). 6 SPECIAL EVENTS COOLIDGE DAYS 2013 This year Coolidge Days will be on October 4, 5 and 6, There will be entertainment, food, arts and crafts, informational booths, carnival and much much more! The events will be held at San Carlos Park, 300 W. Central Ave. Come and join the fun! HALLOWEEN CARNIVAL The Halloween Carnival will be held at the Kenilworth Sports Complex, 671 E. Coolidge Ave., on Thursday, October 31, 2013, 6:00 pm-9:00 pm. There will be booth games, pumpkin carving contest, costume contest, food and music for all ages. HALLOWEEN HAUNTED GYM The Haunted Gym will be held at the Coolidge Tyron Jackson Gym, 660 S. Main St., on Tuesday, October 29, Wednesday, October 30 and Thursday, October 31, 7:00-9:00 pm. There is a $1 fee to enter the Haunted Gym. CHRISTMAS IN THE PARK AND LIGHT PARADE Christmas in the Park will be held on Friday, December 6, 2013, 5:00-7:00 pm, at San Carlos Park, 300 W. Central Ave. Santa will be available for pictures from 5:00-6:45 pm and fee for pictures will be 1 for $3 and 2 for $5. The Christmas Light Parade will start at 7:00 pm, prizes will be: 1st Place $ nd Place $ rd Place $ SPECIAL EVENTS CONT. COMMUNITY CLEAN UP Community Clean Up will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2014 (Date subject to change). The Clean-up times will be at 8:00 am-12:00 noon, at San Carlos Park, 300 W. Central Ave. Lunch will be served at 11:30 am. Materials will be supplied and there will be FREE t-shirts to all volunteers. Gloves and bags will be provided for volunteers. This year Heritage Environmental Services Inc. will be at the park to take all hazardous waste materials from 8:00 am- 12:00 noon. EASTER IN THE PARK Easter in the Park will be held on Saturday, April 19, 2014, 10:00 am, at Kenilworth Sports Complex, 671 E. Coolidge Ave. Easter Egg Hunt will be for children ages 0-2, 3-5, 6-8, and Photos will be taken with the Easter Bunny. The fee for pictures are 1 for $3 and 2 for $5. ADULT CLASSES AEROBICS CLASS Coolidge Parks and Recreation is offering an Aerobics class on Tuesday and Thursday, 6:30-7:30 pm Classes are held at the Coolidge Tyron Jackson Gym, 660 S. Main St. Fee for the class is 5 classes for $10 or 10 classes for $20.
