1 SUMMER 018 Village of Hales Corners Recreation Department Summer Program June 18 th August rd Registration due May 5 th PROGRAM DETAILS The Hales Corners Recreation Department summer program offers a variety of activities and optional trips for children between the ages of 5 and 1. Children are divided into two age groups, 5-8-year olds and 9-1-year olds. Activities vary from week to week and are designed to be age appropriate and fun. Activities include arts and crafts, sports and games, playground time, and more. A detailed calendar of activities is provided. Our staff provides safety, supervision, and summer fun! Many of our staff members are former program participants! Where: Hales Corners Elementary School* 11 W. Godsell Avenue Please use the entrance on Janesville Road for pick-up and drop-off *Please do not call the school When: Monday June 18 through Friday August 7:0 a.m. 4:0 p.m. (Closed Tuesday July - Thursday July 5) POOL/LIBRARY/LUNCH* *Written permission is required see enrollment form Throughout the summer, weather and time permitting, the Hales Corners Recreation Department will chaperone children ages 9-1 to the Hales Corners Pool. Children must leave and return to the summer program with a counselor. Children must pay for the cost to use the pool. Hales Corners Park and Pool are owned and operated by the Milwaukee County Parks System. 9-1 year olds, with parental consent, also have the option to sign out for lunch and to visit the Hales Corners Library. No supervision is provided for these activities. ARRIVAL AND PICK UP The summer recreation program begins on Monday, June 18 th and will continue weekdays through Friday, August rd. The program runs from 7:0 a.m. to 4:0 p.m. daily. The summer program is closed July rd July 5 th There is no supervision before 7:0 a.m. or after 4:0 p.m. Early drop-offs and late pick-ups may result in your child being dropped from the program. Separate fees are required to participate. Field trips must be paid at the time of registration, and there are no refunds. a Hales Corners Recreation Department t-shirt on all field trips or they will be unable to attend. A t-shirt is provided with the cost of the program and additional shirts are available for purchase as well. LUNCHES Children need to bring their own lunch. Water, Gatorade, soda, pizza by the slice, and a variety of snacks are available for purchase.

Parent drop-off or pick-up from field trips is not allowed. Hales Corners Library: unsupervised, up to 1 hour per day. Lunch: unsupervised, child may leave program site for up to 1 hour during normal lunch hour. Leave : child may leave program at any time, but may not return that day. *Requires parental consent see registration form.
