S1&S4 PHOTOS Tempest photos are now available to collect at school reception. S1 GIDEOS ASSEMBLY TUESDAY 6 TH OVEMBER P2 1E1, 1H1, 1H2, 1L1, (practical sets a-f) P3 1S1, 1S2, 1T1, 1T2 (practical sets g-l) Pupils should register with their class teacher before being accompanied to the hall. The first rehearsal for the school show will take place on Thursday 1 st ovember from 3pm 4pm in the music department. Everyone who signed up should attend as we will be starting the first big musical number in preparation for the Christmas concert! Looking forward to seeing you all there. 6 RUGBY FESTIVAL The Ayrshire schools rugby festival has been rescheduled for Thursday 1 st ovember. Any pupils S1/2 & U16 s wishing to take part in a schools rugby Festival, please give your name to Miss McBride by TODAY J Sinclair F Dippie/ L Hunter L McBride Pupils that had previously shown interest in this event, please come down to PE to let Miss McBride know your availability for this fixture. 7 GAME CLUB - HALLOWEE PREVIEW This Friday, 26th October we are playing Ultimate Werewolf, a massive card/role play game in which up to 48 players have to solve a mystery in a countryside town involving werewolves, full moons and witches. Everyone is welcome to participate and you can bring your packed lunch! Due to the nature of Ultimate Werewolf, this Friday only a small selection of the library games will be available to play."

2 8 SCOTTISH YOUTH PARLIAMET Joining the Scottish Youth Parliament means you will be able to influence the decisions of government, parliament, local councils and lots more services like the police and HS. JP McCabe Your role will be to help make sure young people in Scotland are not ignored by decision makers and that your view is heard. At a local and national level you will be supported in all you do and can have some very life changing opportunities in Scotland and abroad You must be 14 by March 2019 to stand but everyone from S1 to S6 will be able to vote. If you would like to register your interest in becoming a candidate for the SYP elections 2019 then you can register online at by 31st October 2018 If you would like more information or have any questions then you can visit Mr McCabe in Social Subjects 1

3 Cheerleading Club The cheerleading club starts at Lunchtime (Wednesday) any S1-3s wishing to take part & compete in this year s dance competition should come to PE at lunchtime or add their name to the sign-up sheet at PE. A Alexander GEOGRAPHICAL FILM CLUB Come along to the Geographical Film Club on the last Friday of every month, starting Friday 28 th of September. Bring your lunch to Social Studies 3 and watch some dramatic and inspirational films about adventures, landscapes and issues around the world. HOCKEY CLUB REMIDER Hockey club is on Thursday after school (3:50PM 4PM). SCHOOL ETBALL TRAIIG Any S1- S6 pupils who would like to play a game of etball please come along to School etball Training on Wednesdays after school 3-4pm. Beginners most welcome. E Miller etball Every Wednesday lunchtime there is a meeting for all girls participating in the Ayrshire Schools etball League to discuss tactics for the forthcoming matches. There will be no general access during these times. WRITIG CLUB To S1 and S2. The library wants you! We are starting a rebellious writing club on Thursday at Lunch time! Come up with ideas about what is rebellion for you, and bring any ideas for a short story you would like to write! A creative writing instructor is coming to help us making our writing even more rebellious, helping us to write a captivating piece.
