u u Visual scoring & club Selection 1. Swing Labs helps the fitter and golfer quickly and easily see what parameters are within acceptable range and which fall outside optimal ranges, as well as see the overall best ranked. v v w 2. Swing Labs provides the fitter with a wealth of information to help guide the golfer into smart club choices based on their performance goals. Swing Labs displays club rankings which are determined based upon clubs that are available in the database and that correspond to the target performance for launch, spin, directional bias, and forgiveness versus workability for each golfer. A whole circle on the far left indicates a club that enables workability and high level of performance, while a whole circle on the right promotes maximum forgiveness. For drivers, this could be size of sweet spot, low ball velocity loss on off center hits, high MOI, increase gear effect due to high bulge and roll of the club face promoting directional correction on off center hits. 3. Swing Labs enables direct comparison of 6 irons and 7 irons. If an OEM offers 7 irons as demo clubs, Swing Labs will display a choice. If a 7 iron is selected, Swing Labs will normalize the data by converting the 7 iron data into equivalent 6 iron data to be compared equally against other 6 iron performance. x y x club overrides 4. Experienced fitters can select 1-3 club overrides in place of recommended clubs which will then be analyzed and compared objectively based upon performance. Best club report 5. The winning or Best club highlighted in the Best Club Report by the software can be overridden by the fitter if desired. 6. Each club is ranked 1-4 in order of best to worst performance for each performance category. The clubs are also ranked according to final overall performance. A legend identifies positive versus negative performance.

Shaft Upgrades 1. In both Standard and Custom Fit modules, additional shaft upgrades will be suggested based on the winning Best Club. 2. The Analysis Summary at the top of the screen shows the best club performance against optimal launch values for the customer based upon his/her swing characteristics. It also shows the shaft specifications of the winning club and recommended changes to those specifications to optimize performance based upon Swing Labs shaft profiling. 3. Alternate Custom Shafts will be shown first, and are shafts offered by the OEM for the winning club. 4. Exotic shafts are additional shafts available that match the criteria and specifications the software is looking for, but are not specifically offered by that OEM for that clubhead. 5. Shaft Overrides will be available at the bottom for any experienced fitter who wishes to recommend a shaft not on the recommended list. 6. Up to three shafts may be selected for the golfer. Produce Report 1. You may print the fitting report which will produce an Adobe.PDF document, including cover page with tyour custom branding. 2. Additionally, if the fitter selects Report, an will be generated to the customer from the fitter with tyour branding, thanking them for coming into the store. The.PDF fitting report will be attached. 7 2 MODULES 1. MyCLUBI Q While technically not a fitting, MyClub IQ can be a great tool for fitters and businesses who want to capture leads and educate or tease consumers about the benefits of custom fitting. Within 15 minutes, the golfer will hit shots with their existing 6/7 iron and driver and will receive a report illustrating the potential gains from equipment optimization over their existing equipment. 2. CLUB COMPARE Club Compare analyzes launch monitor data from driver and iron combinations selected by the fitter and/or golfer to clearly illustrate performance difference among equipment selected. Specifically, differences in loft, shaft, models, etc. can be identified with this easy to use tool. A report is generated after every Club Compare and can be printed or ed. 3. STOCK FIT Stock Fit allows for the recommendation of stock driver and irons shafts with standard lengths and lie angles typically available for immediate sale in most golf retail centers. 4. CUSTOM FIT Custom Fit is Swing Labs most advanced fitting module designed to be used with top manufacturer s fitting carts with interchangeable clubheads and shaft combinations. Custom length, lie, and shafts are recommended for iron fitting, and custom driver shafts with adjustable settings are recommended with each driver fitting. As with all modules, a report is provided that details performance differences and gains made as part of the custom fitting process.

Offers business ability to charge for introductory fitting service.

7 Performing a Fitting - Club Compare 1. Select Club Compare from the Home Screen. 2. Select Drivers or Irons. 3. Create a new golfer account or select an existing golfer account. 4. Fill in the required fields (*) of the Golfer Profile screen. 5. Identify the FIRST CLUB using the dynamic menus. The image of the club should appear after you have completed identifying all of the key specifications. 6. Identify the Control Ball used during this session. You should use the same model of golf ball throughout the entire fitting. 7. Identify Player Preferences for Distance versus Control: 8. Optimal is a balance between distance and control. 9. Distance prioritizes distance as the golfers most important criteria in determining the performance of the clubs he/she is comparing. 10. Control prioritizes accuracy and consistency in determining the best performing club. 11. Identify the SECOND CLUB using the dynamic menus. The image of the club should appear after you have completed identifying all of the key specifications. 12. If you only want to compare 2 clubs, click next without identifying a third club. Otherwise, identify specifications for a third club and select NEXT.

13. Proceed to the shot capture screen, making sure to have the golfer take shots with the club that is pictured so as not to marry the wrong data to the incorrect club. 14. A minimum of 2 shots must be hit per club, but preferably each club should have 3-5 representative shots for analysis. 15. After hitting shots with the FIRST club, select NEXT to proceed to the SECOND club. After hitting representative shots, proceed to the third club by clicking NEXT. 16. After hitting shots with the THIRD club, click NEXT to proceed to the BEST CLUB RE- PORT. 17. The Best Club Report data view highlights the winning club based upon analysis and comparison of the performances of each club. Based upon player preferences, the clubs will be compared based upon distance, accuracy/proximity to the target line, consistency, and clustering diameter of the shot pattern. 18. After explaining to the golfer the data and why the winning club finished in first place, click on the different graphical views to illustrate how the data translated to ball flight. The graphic views are usually the best way to convince the golfer that he/she is purchasing the best performing club as the results are completely objective. The overhead view (MONEY SHOT) will typically make it very clear to the golfer why the clubs ranked in the order they did. Side view will also show performance related to trajectory and distance. The 3D DTL view will show the golfer shot shape and how slices and hooks may have been minimized. or a certain club helps the golfer achieve a more desirable ball flight than their own club. 19. When finished, click Next to print or the fitting report, then click NEXT to finish.

5STOCK FIT What is it? 1. Provides Driver or iron recommendations based upon the performance with golfer s own clubs or another Control Club whose performance characteristics are known by the system. Recommendations are stock shafts and standard lengths. 2. Designed to sell clubs which retailer might have for immediate availability versus a custom or special order. Who is the Target Customer? 1. Everyone buying new clubs! Any male/female of any handicap range. 2. Any golfer who has brand/model preferences and wants to see which club is best of the ones he/she likes. Timeline 1. 14 6 Performing a Stock Fit 1. Sign On using username and password. Each staff member should have their own username and password. Do no share or use a username that is not yours or this will effect tracking of your fitting numbers. 2. Create new golfer account or find existing golfer account for returning customers. Be sure to select the golfer s preferred language as this will determine the language in which the fitting report is created. 3. Select Stock Fit module. 4. Select Driver or Iron fitting.

5. Select a Control Club Make 6. Select Club Model 7. Select Club loft (drivers) 8. Select Shaft Model 9. Select Shaft Flex. After shaft flex is selected, the club image will appear. 10. Select Control Ball. 11. Select Fitting Preferences: 12. Select Control Ball. 15. Select Fitting Preferences: Performance vs. Forgiveness - During robotic testing, various clubs demonstrate better performance in terms of workability, and other clubs are more forgiving in terms of directional correction and loss of ball speed on off center hits. Optimal preference provides a balance between the two. Distance Vs. Accuracy - Prioritizes weighting on the performance results based upon which factor is most important to the golfer s goals when considering the purchase of new equipment. Optimal preference provides a balanced weighting. Shaft Feel - Some golfers prefer a stiffer or softer feeling overall club. Within a category of shafts which match the optimal performance criteria, shafts can be further sorted based on this preference. Swing Labs will always provide unbiased recommendations of equipment the account holder / administrator allows to be recommended within his/her site inventory. However, Swing Labs will also provide ranked recommendations based upon specific brands that the player prefers. These preferred recommendations will be displayed within an additional area within the recommendations screens.

5. Select Control CLub and Control Ball. You must identify the Make, Model, Loft, Shaft, and shaft flex. If you do not see an image of the club appear, you have not selected all the components to the club. If performing an iron fitting, the sliders below the club image will denote the measurement the control club needs to be from its own standard for length and lie. Go to you cart inventory and assemble the closest length and lie for the control club to the indicated measurements. Obviously, an exact match of length and lie is preferable if available as a demo club. Swing Labs recommends not changing these measurements which will keep all recommendations to the ideal static recommendations for all makes and models. 6. Select Preferences (Optimal is best for performance vs. forgiveness & shaft material). If you select Tour Performance or any other option other than Optimal, it will override the unbiased feature. 7. Next, select Select any Preferred Brands Indicated by Golfer. This will provide an additional tab of recommendations in addition to the Unbiased recommendations tab.

8. Capture at least 3-6 representative swings for the Control Club, eliminating any anomalous shots by de-selecting the check box next to the bad data. 9. After clicking NEXT, note the Analysis Summary which shows the golfer s performance with the Control Club compared to Optimals for ball speed, launch, backspin, descent/landing angle. The recommended club-shaft combinations will ideally change the golfer s performance closer to optimal. At the top of the screen, there are various tabs you can select to see various recommendations. If you selected any preferred brands, they will appear in the preferred tab. 10. There will be 2 sets of club recommendations in each tab of every Ultimate Fit: Stock and Custom Recommendations. Stock will only provide stock shaft recommendations for each make and model clubhead. Custom recommendations could be any shaft available in your customizable inventory. Occasionally you may see the same clubhead recommended with 2 different stock or custom shafts. * Note that one of the greatest challenges for fitters is knowing all OEM standards for length and lie. Swing Labs identifies the change in length and lie standard for each recommended club that is required to fit the current golfer s static measurements. Also, it is difficult to compare 6 to 7 irons as some OEMs have different demo club options. Swing Labs normalizes this comparison by converting 7 iron data to 6 iron data for comparison. 11. The fitter can select 1-3 comparison clubs from the recommended list or overrides, or a combination thereof. The control club performance and selected comparison clubs are displayed in the following screen. More Info Button gives cub/shaft details; See club settings for adjustable drivers.

12. The selected clubs will be shown oneby-one in the next few screens. Give the appropriate demo club (pictured) to the golfer and have them proceed to hit shots. Note that the specifications of each club in Stock Fit for all shaft lengths and club lie angles will be Stock-Standard or 0/0. Make sure to have the player hit each recommended club in the recommended order so as not to marry incorrect data with the wrong club. Should that occur, you can always go back and de-select the wrong data and have the golfer re-hit with the correct club. Retain a representative 3-5 shots for analysis before proceeding to the next club. 13. The software will intelligently look for bad or erroneous data and mark the data as invalid data so as not to be used in the analysis. Each club s ball flight will be a different color to differentiate it from other clubs. When a representative number of shots are hit with each club, click NEXT to proceed to the Best Club Report and data analysis. Explain the report and data to the 14. After you explain the report and data to the customer, then select the various graphical displays to illustrate how launch data translates to ball flight. Emphasizing various player preferences such as distance/accuracy, or straighter ball flight results for one club over another if the golfer s goal was to reduce a slice will help close the sale.

18. Swing Labs also offers alternate custom shaft recommendations: Alternate Custom Shafts - are shafts offered as custom options for that make and model club and available for order directly from the OEM. Exotic Shafts - are after-market shafts that match the target specifications for the golfer based upon his/her performance, and are not available by the OEM. 19. After selecting 1-3 shafts to recommend to the customer, the shafts and description are displayed on the next screen. If the Best Club performance is close enough to the optimum performance, you may want to recommend the customer play with the installed shaft already tested. If you have an interchangeable system and the shafts available, you can have the golfer hit shots with various shafts. The shaft upgrades will be available for future reference if the customer comes back at a later date wanting to upgrade. 20. The ball report will then be displayed (drivers only), identifying 3 balls that should be considered by the golfer to optimize their games. 21. Print or report. 22. IMPORTANT: Indicate YES or NO that the customer is purchasing the club/set indicated if that option is available.

Swing Labs will now ask you to confirm the EXACT MEASUREMENTS of the winning club (just in case the available inventory was not an exact match). Use the sliders to identify whether the Best Club matched the winning specs (static), or use the sliders to identify what length and lie the winning club differed from its standard length and lie angle. 16. After identifying the exact length and lie from that model s standard, place lie tape on the bottom of the club. Make sure the center of the lie tape is in the center of the club parallel to the leading edge. Have the golfer hit a shot off the lie board instructing them to make contact with the board. Note the position of the scuff mark. Repeat this a minimum of 2-3 times and indicate the position on the virtual lie tape. *Swing Labs will use these dynamic measurements to adjust from the current club s length and lie, taking into consideration effective length-lie equivalents for the club s length. 17. The fitter will have the option to select from a few options, including the recommended length and lie highlighted in green. The software will recommend one of the options based upon what club is hit and dynamic performance. The fitter always has the option to override the software s recommended length and lie if he/she disagrees or wants to make fine adjustments for the final report. This is a great alternative for experience fitters/ instructors who want to fit to posture.

Lorem Ipsum xxvii 18. The ball report will then be displayed (drivers only), identifying 3 balls that should be considered by the golfer to optimize their games. 21. Print or report. 22. IMPORTANT: Indicate YES or NO that the customer is purchasing the club/set indicated if that option is available.

xxviii Enicaper ficaed susta nondin is es nonim et dolore 7 Understanding how to read and interpret the Best Club report can be very important in closing equipment sales and creating satisfied customers. A summary of the performance is at the top of the screen. Whether you are a veteran or novice fitter, the Best Club Report puts all the critical data and in depth analysis quickly and neatly at your fingertips. Being able to explain this report will instill your customers with confidence that you are providing an unbiased and objective recommendation designed to help their golf games rather than trying to sell them something they do not need. After explaining the Best Club Report, you can then show the golfer the graphical displays which will illustrate what you just explained to them from the report. The graphical displays with help the customer make a connection between launch data and how it influences ball flight. To get to the graphical displays, simply click on the Top, Side, or 3D tabs. The Key View or clustering ovals identify dispersion and distance control differences of each club s performance, and help to identify which club performed best according to the player s goals. Interpreting the Best Club Report Club Compare Best Club Reports only display 3 clubs, and the report shows a comparison of performance club versus club. Both Standard Fit and Custom Fit Best Club Reports show up to 4 clubs (including Control Club), and compare each club s performance against ball flight optimums for each golfer. Club Specifications The basic club specifications and club make and model are shown on the first few cells of the report. Final Ranking Every major category is scored 1st place through 4th place with respect to performance in that particular category. The overall performance is the final ranking, and the 1st place club is highlighted in green.

Lorem Ipsum xxix Legend The legend shows three different levels of performance in key performance categories. A club with the most stars and plus symbols is a good performing club. As you scroll down, the major categories will display one of these performance levels for each club. Overrides If the fitter does not agree with the final best club ranking, he has two options. 1) He can click one of the other radio buttons above each club name. This will change the picture to the new winning club. However, this will not change the scoring and final ranking numbers below, but the report will show it as the final recommended club. All additional shaft upgrade recommendations will be based upon the final winning club. 2) The fitter can also click the PREVIOUS button until he reaches the player preferences on the beginning screen and make changes, then select NEXT until returning to where he left off. Often the recommendation of the Best Club can change based upon the player s preferences. Launch and Backspin Optimums Specific launch angle and spin rate optimums exist at specific clubhead and ball velocities to optimize carry distance + roll. The goal is to try to get clubs as close to the green zone as possible. Clubs that are within the same color zone will obtain the same numerical ranking. Direction/Deviation This is an extremely important category. Lateral dispersion has two numbers. (-) Negative number are mean the ball was left of the target line, and (+) are to the right. The left number is the farthest left ball and the right is the farthest right ball of the shots hit for that club. The distance between the farthest left and right shots is Lateral Control. Distance control from shot to shot is then factored into each club s performance and makes up Clustering Diameter. The goal is to have these numbers as small as possible, and as close to the target line as possible for the most accurate and consistent club performance.
