1 Stock Brook Main Club and Mixed Conditions and Formats Junior/Cadets (Junior aged up to 18 years, Cadet aged years), where specified, can play in competition if: For boys handicap is 18 or below For girls handicap is 28 or below. When playing in a main-club competition there must be a 1 junior/ 1 adult ratio within any group (tee time). Entry cancellation A member who enters a competition and fails turn up at their entered/allotted Tee-time, without an acceptable reason or having given prior advice of cancellation to the Pro Shop Reception, will result in a 5 fine. This rule applies even if their name is entered by another member on their behalf. Repeat offenders may incur a competition ban for between 1 and 3 months. tie resolution: - unless specified below, all 18 hole Stableford / strokeplay competitions Ties will be decided on count-back based on following order (regardless on which hole or course the players started on: Stock/Brook Course: Brook Best 9; best 6; best 3; best 1 then Stock Best 9; best 6; best 3; best 1. Use of the Yellow ball will be defined in competition rules given on the day. Teams of 3 Men - Yellow Tees, Ladies - Red Tees Ladies receive 1 extra adjustment shot to handicap a ghost player will make up the 4 th team member and contribute points as follows: Par 4 s & 5 s 2 points per hole ; Par 3 s 1 point per hole. THE GHOST PLAYER WILL NOT 'PLAY' THE YELLOW BALL. 3 Stableford scores out of 4 to count - the score of the player with the yellow ball DOUBLED plus the 2 best scores out of the remaining 3. Yellow ball is used by one of the 3 team members per hole in rotation The Ghost player does not use the yellow ball and therefore its score is not doubled on any hole. the yellow ball cannot be lost for scoring purposes if it cannot be retrieved or found you must apply the appropriate penalty and continue play with a replacement ball as the yellow ball. Open to: 7 day Men plus eligible juniors/cadets All with Active handicaps of 18 or under on the day of the competition. Notes: Groups and starting times to be drawn. Play in 3-balls. Members with handicaps of 19 or above cannot play in the competition, but will be permitted to play off the Black Tees and given a later tee time. Any player whose playing handicap has increased to 19 since entry will not be eligible to play in the competition. : BLACK & BLUE Qualifier? Members with playing handicaps above 18 cannot enter the competition. Open to: 7 day Men plus eligible juniors/cadets Members joining from 1 January onwards must have played a minimum of 3 qualifier competitions to be eligible to enter the Club Championship. All must have Active handicap Notes: Groups and starting times to be determined by organiser (lower h/caps out last). R A Brown Trophy counts towards Golfer of the year. Tie Resolution: RA Brown Trophy - decided on Count-back (last 18, then last 9 etc). Tie resolution: Club Championship - determined by 'Sudden Death' playoff commencing on 1 st hole and continuing on Stock/Brook course until decided. Buggies not permitted. V1 August

NO Easter Saturday 1 st Tee time 12:00 (2 tee start) 18 hole Mixed Texas-Scramble Tee: Men: Yellow Full handicap (subject to max deemed handicap of 28 for men and 36 for women). Ladies receive one extra adjustment shot (in addition to max deemed) added before team stroke allowance is calculated. Open to: 7 day Men and Ladies. Plus eligible juniors/cadets Notes: Mixed teams will be drawn to balance (as near as possible) handicaps and gender composition. Organiser notes: Teams of 4 allowance: 1/10 th the combined playing handicaps and deduct the resulting allowance from the team score at the end of the round. Each player must have at least 4 of their tee shots taken during the round. The team decides which is the best placed tee shot and then each member of the team, EXCEPT THE PLAYER WHOSE TEE SHOT HAS BEEN SELECTED, play their second shots from the position of the chosen ball (NB: If the selected tee shot lands on the green, all team members putt) This is done by each member of the team placing (if on fairway or green) or dropping (if off fairway or green) their ball within 6 inches of the chosen ball All subsequent shots can be taken by all players until the ball is holed. Teams of 3 allowance: 1/8 th the combined playing handicaps then add 2 shots after calculation and deduct the resulting allowance from the team score at the end of the round Each player must have at least 5 of their tee shots taken during the round The team decides which is the best placed tee shot and then ALL members of the team play their next shots from the position of the chosen ball This is done by each member of the team placing (if on fairway or green) or dropping (if off fairway or green) their ball within 6 inches of the chosen ball When on the green, the player whose drive was taken has an extra putt (so team has 4 attempts at each putt). The men and ladies are separate competitions even though it is a mixed event. Men's competition counts towards Golfer of the Year. Tee: Men: White Fees: Entry: 0 All competitors play off scratch Open to: Top 16 finishers in Club Championship (Substitutes allowed from 17 th placed finisher onwards if necessary) Notes: Drawn competition as based on Club Championship top 16 as follows: Top half of draw; 1 st plays 16 th ; 3 rd plays 14 th ; 5 th plays 12 th ; 7 th plays 10 th. Bottom half of draw; 2 nd plays 15 th ; 4 th plays 13 th ; 6 th plays 11 th ; 8 th plays 9 th. Organisers Notes As this competition gets off to a late start in the year, round completion dates are stipulated as guidelines and only in extreme overruns would disqualification be considered. It is hoped that matches will be played in time to have the final on Finals Day. V1 August

Winner partner's Craig in Lombard Trophy PGA National Pro-Am Championship. Organiser's Notes: : Details on entry to Lombard Trophy PGA: The entry forms and other related papers are sent to us around March time. They are given to the s Secretary (CS). The CS asks Craig to choose which of the regional final clubs he wants to play at. The CS needs to complete a number of forms consulting with both Craig and the Spring Trophy winner. Cheques need to be raised for Club entry ( 35) plus a cheque for the equivalent of 2.00 times the number of players in the Spring Trophy. This comes out of the member s fund.
