2 FAIRWAY INVEST by KEIRETSU FORUM Fairway, the Way of St. James Forum, has become an essential workspace for companies and institutions that are related in some way to the Camino. For the third (2019) event, in addition to the different formats of consolidated sections (Fair, Congress and Workshop), the organisation of the Way of St. James Forum has decided to commit itself decisively to the creation of a new format: FAIRWAY INVEST by KEIRETSU FORUM. What is FAIRWAY INVEST by KEIRETSU FORUM? Fairway Invest, promoted by Fairway and Keiretsu Forum, has the objective of becoming the largest hub for exchanging ideas and reflections, among the most important players in the industry related to the Way of St. James. In turn, Keiretsu Forum is the largest private investment network in the world and the initiative s associate partner. Both entities have established a collaboration agreement to hold an Investment Forum in connection with the 3rd Way of St. James Fairway Forum. Between 8 and 10 business projects will be presented in relation to sectors of the Way of St. James with capital-funding needs. The deadline for presenting proposals is January 18, 2019.

According to one study, each pilgrim spends 1,000 euros, which includes the purchasing of material for the route and the cost of the return trip. There are seven traditional routes (French Route, Portuguese Route, Northern Route, Original Route, Vía de la Plata Route, English Route and Finisterre Route). 7 Conditions for participating in the FAIRWAY INVEST by KEIRETSU FORUM The FAIRWAY INVEST by KEIRETSU FORUM will be held in Santiago de Compostela, on February 12, Anyone can register. The Fairway Invest is aimed at entrepreneurs from all over the world, regardless of nationality. Bear in mind, however, that the Campus will mainly be held in Spanish (both the training sessions and individual consultancies). 1. Anyone can register. They can be at the production stage or be a feasible, welldeveloped idea with a thorough presentation of the project. 3. The projects cannot feature sex, alcohol, drugs or politics. 4. We are looking for entrepreneurs that are fully committed to the project. Full-time availability to work on the project is indispensable, in the case of the winner. 5. We will select a short list with a maximum of 10 projects, from all those participating in the Fairway Project Fund. The selected entrepreneurs will present their project to prestigious investors, Business Angels and Venture Capital funds. 6. After the presentations, the attending investors will select the winning project, which will receive 5,000 in prizemoney. 7. The projects that are not shortlisted will participate in the Fairway Invest Forum, where they will attend training conferences and meetings with investors and financial entities. 8. All shortlisted projects must sign a participation commitment form; in-person attendance is required to participate in the competition. Once entrepreneurs have been notified regarding their shortlisted status, they will receive the said document and have 7 calendar days to return it signed. 9. In relation to the personal data included in the registration and belonging to each project, it will be subject to what is stipulated by current Personal Data Protection regulations and Fairway s Privacy and Data Processing Policy. 10. In the case of any investment agreements that are reached with the entrepreneurs projects, Fairway Invest by Keiretsu Forum will charge a 3% fee. 11.
