Contact the Pro Shop for details. Appropriate golf attire is required at the discretion of the Pro Shop staff. Men s shirts must have sleeves and Women may wear sleeveless tops with a minimum 2 inch shoulder strap. NO T-SHIRTS, TANK TOPS or ATHLETIC JERSEYS. NO CUT-OFFS, GYM SHORTS, SWEAT PANTS or BASKETBALL SHORTS During the months of April, May, September and October, the High School golf teams will be practicing and playing matches starting at 3:00 PM, Monday thru Thursday. The Westborough Women s Golf Association plays on Tuesday mornings. There is a 9 and 18 hole group. The Senior Men s Golf Association plays on Wednesday mornings starting at 8:00. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoons, we have leagues teeing off starting as early at 3:00 and ending as late as 5:30PM. Do not skip holes or cut in front of players on the course. If you stop for a rest after 7 holes, you lose your turn on the 8 th tee and may not be able to complete your nine. Do not start on the eighth tee without permission from the Pro Shop. Practicing on the course is not permitted. This means that each player plays only one ball unless a USGA rule allows the play of a provisional ball. Do not practice chipping to the greens or hitting shots from the areas around the green to the next tee. Please replace your divots and repair ball marks. Because not all divots or ball marks will heal properly when repaired, we ask that you try not to take a divot with your practice swing or practice to any green. If you play with anyone that is not taking care of the course, just remind them of their responsibilities on the course and report them to the pro shop if they continue to mistreat the course. If you are chipping onto the practice putting green and someone comes to practice, either stop chipping or be sure that your practicing will not interfere with the other player.
5 No playing after dark. You can finish the last two holes of your round but we do not want you teeing off the first hole when it is obvious that it will be dark soon. This can be dangerous and can cause additional damage to the course. Be sure that you can not reach the people in front of you before you hit. Give them an extra 20 yards before you hit. While you are at the course please be considerate of the other players on the course by keeping pace with the group in front of you and being quiet. Do not yell across fairways or around the clubhouse. Even a normal conversation around the clubhouse or the putting green can disturb players on the 1 st tee, 9 th green or 8 th tee. Put your golf bags on the bag rack in front of the Pro Shop. Do not block the path to the eighth tee. The Pro Shop and Restaurant are places of business and you should not be hanging around or handling the merchandise unless you have intentions of making a purchase or have business to conduct. No items should be left in the club room overnight. Any item left overnight will be discarded. There is a team room in the basement that the golf teams and juniors may leave their clubs in overnight. The Golf Club is not responsible for any items left in the team room or locker rooms. Please do not carry your golf clubs into or through the Pro Shop. You should be at the course at least 15 minutes before your tee time. No speeding in the parking lot.
