Currently projected 13 th in the FedExCup, Stanley has not finished higher than 24 th (2017) in the final standings. Tony Finau (T6) improved his standing in round three with a 3-under 67. A solo-second finish Sunday would offer Finau a chance at winning the FedExCup, making him the first player to win the season-long title without a victory. Entering the week at No. 4 in the FedExCup standings, Dustin Johnson birdied four of his last six holes to shoot a 3-under 67 and move into a tie for ninth. Bryson DeChambeau, who won the first two Playoffs events and entered the TOUR Championship in the No. 1 position, sits T21 after rebounding in round three with a 4-under 66, including eagles on hole Nos. 6 and 17.
