5 Conditions 1 Entries must be made on the prescribed form, must be accompanied by all fees and must be lodged with the Tournament Secretary. Post entries accepted. 2 All golfers will play off their official Golf Australia handicaps. 3 STARTING CONDITIONS: A draw for play may be made by the committee in charge of the competition, which has the power to amend the draw or starting times or substitute another player as necessary. Players must report to the starter 20 minutes prior to tee off times (30 minutes if shotgun start) and be prepared to play when called upon to do so by the committee/starter. 4 Entries are restricted to Amateurs who are members of Clubs affiliated with Golf Victoria, or of Golf Clubs registered with such State or Overseas Associations as are affiliated with or recognised by this Association, or Clubs affiliated with the Victorian Golf League, and the Committee shall have the right to refuse entry of any person without giving reason for such refusal. 5 Competition shall be played in accordance with the Rules of Golf as adopted by the Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St. Andrews, Scotland, together with such local rules as are in force. If a dispute arises on any point, it shall be decided by the Match Committee in charge of the competition, whose decision will be final. 6 Notice of any dispute or of any protest must be lodged in writing with a Club Captain of the Hepburn Springs Golf Club within half an hour of the cessation of play on the day which such dispute or ground for protest has or have arisen. 7 The committee may, in the event of bad weather or for any other reason, either shorten or eliminate any contest or fix another day for its determination. In the event of ties, they shall be decided by play-off as directed by the committee, or if not practicable, by a countback. 8 Entries for pairs events may be made singly or in pairs.
