5 The golf shop at French creek 2017 Events Below you will find the schedule of golf events for this year. We are very excited with a few of the changes and are hopeful that participation will grow. Here are a few changes to the calendar Par 3 Championship We will turn each hole into a par 3 with separate tees for men and women. This will be our first event of the year and a great way to kick off the season. Senior & Super Senior Club Championship Both events will now be a season long, match play event. Men s & Women s Shootout You can try to qualify as many times as you like during the qualifying period. Just hit it OB off the first hole, well pay the entry fee again and start your round over!! We will take the low 3 gross scores and low 7 net scores to advance to the Shootout. All 10 players will tee off together and knock out one player each hole until we have our winner. There will be a separate men s and women s division. Men s & Women s Club Championship The entire event, qualifying and match play, will be held on one weekend. Qualifying will be held on Saturday morning with the 1 st round of matches to be played in the afternoon. The Championship Matches (all men s & women s flights) will be an 18-hole final on Sunday afternoon. Men s 27-Hole Challenge A bring one guest member-guest where each of the nine holes is a different format. Net Stroke Play Championship A 36 hole, net stroke play Championship. Players will be able to play from separate sets of tees; with the overall champions coming from the Blue Tees for the men or Red Tees for the women. Mixed Member Guest Any couple can invite another couple for a day of golf, food and fun! Breakfast Tournament A bring one or three guests member-guest on a Saturday morning! Even if you don t have a guest, you are still more than welcome to participate with your own group or we can find others for you to join. Cost will be $50 per player (members and guests) for golf and breakfast.

7 PGA Show Recap The Professional Staff had a very productive trip to the PGA Show. After two days of walking around and looking at hundreds of vendors, we were ready to come back. We hope you followed us on Instagram (frenchcreekgolfshop) as we posted over 40 photos from our two days. Below are a few of the new companies we are excited to be carrying in the Golf Shop. Holderness & Bourne A small company that is in some big name clubs in the New York area. We are the second club to carry H&B in the Philadelphia area. The clothing is a mix between traditional and modern in both fit and look. Hate when your collar rolls up after several washings, well H&B has a collar that stays to keep them looking great. Tommy John You have probably heard of Tommy John on the news or seen items at Nordstrom. They use the best fabrics, tailored the fit for actual movement throughout your day and made them functional (quick-draw fly you ll need to see in person). We will just start with the boxers in the shop, but if you are interested in the undershirts we can order them for you. We hear they are excellent. Adidas AdiPure While we have carried Adidas in the past, this is a new men s line for them. It will be very limited as only 25 golf clubs in the entire Philadelphia area will have it. Adidas spared no expense on even the finest of details. Bump and Run A very small ladies line; Bump and Run had some great casual t-shirts with golf slogans on the front. These are great for working out or lounging around. Peter Millar Enough said!! We will carry a little bit of everything in Peter Millar for both the men & women. Should you see anything at other clubs you like, please let me know. We are happy to explore if we can acquire that item for you. Don t forget, the prices at French Creek will always be the same or lower that you would find in any big box retailer. If it s not, please make us aware.
